Not to hijack the thread, but on a related note; if one goes to the doctor with this issue, are we automatically diagnosed with gender dysphoria? Can you ask a doctor to leave something off of your medical records? Do these records follow you? I’d like not to be put on any kind of list of “mentally ill” people, though it’s hard to imagine telling the doctor with a straight face, yeah, I took these pill just ‘cause.

F64.0 diagnosis is NOT mental illness. No, they do not diagnose it just like that. Diagnosis shows where ever your other diagnostic stuff does and can be seen by poeple who normally can see it.

If you're so scared of labels like "mental illness" and what not, why are you trying to grow boobs? Man growing boobs is a weirdo freak in peoples eyes and they definitely will see it as "mentally ill" very easily. Whereas a trans woman like me who's stealth passable will be seen as normal as they don't know my medical history. Gender dysphoria is definitely not mental illness. In a same way as neurodivergencies are a human condition to which people are born into.

This should be added to BN rules that any kind of transphobia is verboten. But BN is weird with bunch of things.

Btw... Calling me and all other sex/gender minority people mentally ill is the most certain way to get your ass reported. Transphobia is just rebranded homophobia, it works the same way as how racism does and all discrimination does. Bigotry is mental illness and it wont be tolerated.

Wow, take it down a notch. I DID NOT insult you or anyone else. I use herbs because I am distrustful of the medical system and don’t want to be discriminated against by bureaucrats for my gender nonconformity. “Transphobia” is a nice little prepackaged term that can elicit an emotional response that can sweep away what the other person was talking about. Do you even realize what my point was? There are all kinds of situations where a judge or a police officer or an administrator or gatekeeper of some kind can say “I see you have a mental health diagnosis; disqualified.”
