Supple nips are not strong enough for me. Amazon does not have the XL sizes so I took another aporoach.
I use the 27mm flanges from a Bellababy breast pump set. I need a larger set of flanges. The flanges fit my breasts well but the tubular portion is not long enough to stretch my nipples anymore. I prefer hard plastic flanges with a silicone lip. The all silicone flanges do not have enough support. I ordered a set of 36mm flanges which is the largest at Amazon.
I use the vacuum pump from an Amazon cupping set. The pump is strong. You can set a constant vacuum level or you can select a pulse mode. In pulse mode the transition between pulses is not abrupt enough for me. I want a very abrupt transition (on/off) that is like a milker. The pump is loud if you have noise concerns.
The cupping set comes with a good selection if cylinders and larger cups. The cylinders/cups alone are worth the purchase price.
I also have a refrigeration vacuum pump. I plan to buy a pulser (the component of a goat/cow milker that produces the abrupt pulsing action) to use with the refrigeration vacuum pump.
My nipples have always been prominent but I have been pumping them for the last year. They have increased in size and I am working to make them larger/longer. My nipples prefer a vacuum over 20”, anything leas than 15” and the cups fall off. A nursing bra helps to hold flange/cups in place but I prefer to use enough vacuum so that the pumping bra is not needed.
