I love corsets and I have bought many in the past.
My main advice is: don't go cheap!
What you want is thick fabric and steel boning, the more bones the better. I was super super lucky to buy a very good one from Ebay for just £40 (should cost £200) and it's definitely a different experience from the cheap stuff with plastic boning that you can get in halloween stores.
Given your body shape I would suggest you buy a "waspie", a waist cincher corset. They are the "very underbist" type that only rise to bellow your rib cage. If/when you manage to lose some muscle mass on your abdomen, you can look into an underbust corset. I found that overbust corsets struggle to adapt to very wide chests (band-wise).

If, instead, you want to try shapewear, remember to buy it a lot smaller than your size. This is because women don't usually have firm muscles on their belly and they don't expect to train their waistline using shapewear. You'll need to go super tight. Unfortunately this is likely to be a trial-and-error process ???
