There's lots of little add-ons for a topical regime, just read HelloDidi's last few thread, about increasing IGF-1 etc.
If you want to fly under the radar try to the topical, or even add Red Reishi.
If as you say you are doing it slow, then I agree with the doc, just use e-gel, it's most likely why an AA isnt being added, if however you want to speed it up talk to your doc.
