Have any of you had a situation like this......a woman you love with every fiber of your being and a desire to transition that is so strong you can barely think of anything else. I CAN NOT live without my wife, yet I know the wicked battle I face fighting my need to transition. ANY AND ALL ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Many of us have had to face this scenario.  Possibly due to our age and generational experiences/ expectations it is something we are VERY familiar with.  I would suggest talking this over with a professional who deals with trans folk and include the wife.  If she understands how this is a NEED and not a want-to-try-it-out situation that can be affirmed by a professional.....then maybe there is a way forward, together.  Just my two cent opinion, but I'm sure there are infinitely more qualified people out in the world who help couples manage the complexities of transitioning.  Good luck to you.
