My blood work was already scheduled and is a full CBC, metabolic, lipid and T panel. It has nothing at all to do with me taking BO. I have no intent on chasing numbers with blood work as, after reading the many posts here about BO, I'm not even sure what specific levels of T (or E for that matter ) I would be chasing. Like you mentioned, T is required for BO to work.
I'm mainly interested in if there are any patterns that develop while taking BO and if it does or doesn't work on me, why that may be the case. Somehow, treating my decision to finally take action to address decades of dysphoria as a somewhat controlled scientific endeavor, is making it easier to process.
As far as other methods go, oral PM with the potential clotting and liver issues scare me. I am a recovering alcoholic and fortunately managed to escape any long term damage but I make it a priority to care for my liver.
