Yeah, I think we all wish breast growth could be faster than it is. 
As far as nobody looking at a man's torso, I think some exceptions would be if you're shirtless (i.e. for swimming or a doctor's exam). When I was still in the closet, I got an official diagnosis of gynecomastia by a doctor (during a routine physical exam).
