Licorice is difficult to work with. It contains phyto-estrogens, increases prolactin, is also an anti-androgen, and contains phyto-progestins.
Because it does so much, you can only take a little of it (tea) as a basic feminizing herb. Then use the others to balance:
add saw palmetto if you need more anti-androgen (breakouts, hair loss, too high libido)
add fenugreek if you need more prolactin (swelling)
add red clover if you need both more estrogens and more progestins
add wild yam if you need more estrogens (NBE growth)
add black cohosh if you need more progestins (rounds the breasts, ups libido, but stops NBE growth)
In addition, fenugreek also increases progesterone and estrogen a little. And your multivitamin with the black cohosh may also contain vitamin B6 and zinc, which are anti-androgens.
The math may become difficult when you need to adjust your program.
