Where ever you got that from, it is total BS. Real progesterone and progestins BOTH DECREASE testosterone levels in both men and women. It is no respecter of genders or sexual organs.
It is unknown exactly how it does this, as progesterone is also a known precursor to the androgens...
It COULD be that it's talking about the "fake" progesterone creams which only contain diosgenin without being synthesized into progesterone, which it would also be false for, as it's been proven that diosgenin is discarded by the liver on first pass and the body is incapable of using it for anything.
