By the testimony of those who are using PM, it does seem like the breasts are particularly susceptible to PM. I'm honestly not sure though, if the synthetics versions of estrogen used for HRT and trans women are identical to those naturally produced in the human body. Does anyone know for sure?
PM does effect other areas of the body though. I freaked out one morning in the shower when I noticed the dimples or depressions in the sides of my butt are filling in. When I started PM a couple months ago, I was only interested in the mental effects and breast development. I'm not sure I'm ready for a completely feminine figure if that's what it's going to do to me. The girl inside me loves the idea but the reality of the social consequences scares me at this point.
I don't know why but I never thought about taking birth control before you mentioned it. If the mental effects of PM ever quit working for me, I'll be looking for an alternative in short order. I can't imagine BC pills would be too hard to get a hold of. Would BC pills offer anything substantially different than PM? I know that question crosses the "natural / synthetic" line but...
