If you want to gain weight, eat lots of carbohydrates, especially things like white bread, pastries, and candy, though it isn't exactly healthy. Grain, especially wheat, corn, and white rice, will cause weight gain. Eating more fat, especially animal fats, will also contribute to weight gain, but the carbohydrates are really the key. Then again, depending on your personal metabolism, it may be very difficult to gain weight no matter what you do.

While this IS true... It's making you gain FAT. And mostly deep tissue nasty BAD FAT. Fatty foods contribute to clogging you up with cholesterol and mostly subcutaneous fat. Heavy carbs, especially heavily processed, contribute to deep tissue fat.
If what you want is to gain muscle weight, eat an excess of protein and workout enough to use it.
If you DO want fat, go for healthy fats like fish oils and such to increase your subcutaneous "white fat" layer. Avoid things that are going to cause clogged arteries and deep tissue fat! BAD BAD BAD!!!! I CAN NOT believe you seriously even suggested it Monika!
