I read that your last program included PM (extract), WP, LR, PC, Dandelion.

I am trying cycling, for the first time, with PM, Reishi and WP for 2 weeks, followed by 2 weeks of PC and reishi. I am just starting the second phase and feel like it may need something more, perhaps FG. Do you have any recommendations? Any help is always welcomed.

Yes, I'd consider FG, Shatarvi or Vitex for the boost in progesterone and prolactin. That 2 hormone process I outlined a couple of weeks ago demonstrated the need to cycle the hormones. Don't forget nipple stimulation, it's not just for the benefit of self gratification.

Thanks! You are always so helpful. I have some FG on hand. Do you think 2,400 mg twice daily would suffice?

Also, I noticed that you used PC 4 days per week. Is that better than applying it every day?

As for the gratification, I must admit that it is nice to have a good excuse.

Your welcome, Smile

From experience I'd start with 1/2 that dose (indigestion issues), that's just me though, and then adjust when I could. PC @ 4 days was all I could handle, applying daily sent me over the edge with aggression, again that's me.

Lol, you just tell those girls this is for science and hope they listen and not get too carried away, although it's very difficult, so who could blame them. Tongue

Interesting how Peony can influence aromatase activity and inhibit prolactin. It's also interesting to note that Chaste Berry is listed in a lot of different areas.

Yeah lol, nothing is ever easy in understanding NBE. Rolleyes For instance, take the info below on WY, this is why I have it listed in the FAQ sections containing progesterone, better to play it under that assumption, check the labels or call the manufacture to verify. (Especially if your levels are high)

• commentary: Wild Yam and "Natural Progesterone": There has been some confusion concerning products containing Dioscorea villosa (Mexican Wild Yam) that claim to boost endogenous progesterone levels, or to be a form of "natural progesterone". To add to the confusion, some topical preparations actually contain both Dioscorea extract and pharmaceutical progesterone. The following points should be noted:
• The natural steroidal compound diosgenin is in fact estrogenic, not progesteronic.
• Diosgenin has been used as a starter compound in the laboratory synthesis of progesterone patented by Marker in the late 1940's known as the Marker Degradation Process.
• Homologous metabolic pathways do not exist humans, and diosgenin is therefore not a "precursor" for endogenous progesterone synthesis.

I'm going to start the Resihi in a couple weeks after my full month of PM.

Hi elaine, (your welcome), Wink

You'll still need an estrogenic source along with the Reishi, also WP to help convert that free T to estrogen, nipple stimulation for the release of prolactin and a progesterone source to balance the E. Here's two herbs as an example:

okay, I'm in my fifth week now, leveled off to 2000mg PM a day last week.
My local Health food store carried Solray Reishi 600mg caps, Host Defense Organic caps 500mg and Host Defense Extract.
I went with the caps, for convienence, more than anything.

I'll plan on ordering from Swanson since its pretty pricey locally.

Now, when should I add the WP?

Hi Elaine,

If you have WP on hand I'd start it now, which brand/type of WP have you decided upon?.

Btw, I like the web info on Host Defense, (great find).

We have a large independent health food store here where I live.
Was started back in early '90's by a local high school teacher as a part time thing. Grew until he quit teaching in early 2000's.

About 5 years ago they added a whole grocery of organic foods and produce.

If its a herb or supplement product, they probably have it.

Anyway, the Host Defense product line seems to be very high quality. a lot of the info in the pdf was on the box and I read the website after I made the purchase. Made me feel even better about my choice.
And after a little thought, I don't want cheap in my body, even though the Solray was twice the caps for the same money.

Haven't picked a WP product yet. Any recommendations?
thank you for all your research and sharing your experience.
It's invaluable.

Good point, there's no play-book for the "best NBE herbs", maybe BN members have their own personal preferences though. I preferred extracts to capsule for the by-pass of the first metabolism effect.

I've treid 2 different WP extracts, one of which was organic (gmo free),

Iowa Select Herb's White Peony and Herbs of Light Peony Root, maybe give the nod to Iowa brand, it was 1:1 ratio.

Thank you for the kind words, Wink

Hi bashfluff, talk to your HCP, seriously!.

Nobody here is a medical professional, and for the most part what gets recommended is from personal experience. I'm not trying to be harsh, can you share more info about yourself and being a kidney patient?. You might be surprised to find someone with a similar experience to yourself here at Breast Nexus.

Okay. Can you might recommend options I can bring up? I've seen people bring up PM and Saw Palmetto, which might be enough there, since they seem tame enough. But I don't know about curves and general feminine body shape things.
