I pasted your link (http://en.irc2go.com/webchat/?net=NewNet) into a new browser window.
I get that page to open asking me for the chat room and a nickname.

I assume the chat room is :#GDChat
Is my nickname just my name?
That is what I entered.
I then get the window for the room but it tells me it cannot connect. Am I doing something wrong?
I am using Safari on a Macpro

Select NewNet from the server dropdown list & enter your Uername/Nickname then click Connect

and use that.

what's not to like about IRC, It's as simple as Dirt & the clients use so little resources you could almost run them on a toaster....

I tried it last night. Loved it! Had a nice chat with Lucidity, whybreasts and Lenneth. I highly recommend it to everyone (even the lurkers or as I prefer to call them, observers)

i think buzzen would be a lot more easier for chat room .
