Honestly, I am so hoping that many of the girls from here will come. I want to meet all of you... Lotus, Flame, Kari, Eva, Lenneth.everyone. Elisa asked about it so I am hoping she decides to came. And Karren wants to, don't you Karren...tee hee. I was even hoping Heather and Myboobs might hop across the pond. It shouldnt be hard for MissedMiss to get there, right MM? And all the newer girls...everyone! It would be so awesome to have a whole platoon of BN girls all there together.
I mean, after everything we share with each other here and to such a personal degree, it would be like a big family reunion.
Please try to come!
I had a long discussion with my O&O this evening, and I think I'm on.
We covered a lot of ground, but she is not at all certain that she wants to meet Annie, and there are some things she wants to sleep on. All in all it was a much easier discussion than I expected, although she cautioned that she might feel different in the morning. I think that the thought of my cross dressing rather sticks in her gullet, not because of any objection on principle but because she cannot really conceive of my enjoying it, and because she thinks that it's something alien to my character. May be she's right but we'll see. When are the rest of the BN group thinking of arriving and leaving? Arrive Wednesday mid day and leave Sunday morning looks viable to me. I need to book flights early because I'm intending to use Air Canada Aeroplan points.

Annie, that's fantastic news! I'm so glad to hear it. I want to give your DW a big hug and kiss (if you don't mind, of course...heehee). I plan to be there for the full conference arriving Tuesday the 2nd (so I can attend Princess Day at 9:00 AM on the 3rd) and leaving Sunday the 7th. So that's 5 nights stay at the Crowne Plaza. Now you begin the preparations for the big event. There's lots to do, but it'll be so much fun doing it. Trust me.
Hug, hug, hug,
Clara

Oh, I am so excited that you are coming!
Firstly perhaps I should explain my name change. I never really liked the original, and I was quite shaken recently when I came up with one of my posts in a Google search for something quite unrelated, because it would be too eye-catching for various of my close family members familiar with who my mother so strongly wished I had been. The amended version is more in line with the name you have given me, Sammie.
, and a little less obviously Annabel.
I had a further discussion with J this morning. While yesterday she produced a wicked grin and said she thought she could be quite disruptive if she did come, this morning she said as I rather expected that she wouldn't. Since she is on a bit of a sewing jag at the moment I had hoped she might help me with Annie's wardrobe but she doesn't seem keen on that either.
I have booked the hotel for Tuesday to Sarurday nights, and have registered (but didn't include any of the optional items. I should have enough Aeroplan points by the end of the month to book the airline flights.
Looking forward to it with some trepidation.
Hugs

I know the feelings of apprehension that are continually bubbling to the surface, Annie. I, too, had those feelings, but trust me, they do die down as the anticipation and excitement sinks in and preparations get underway. I went from finding some comfort knowing the event was a long four months away, to recently becoming impatient for September to arrive.

Annie, you should at least do the Princess Day option. There is, I think, a lot to learn on that first Wednesday. Just for grins, I also bought a spot to see the Drag Show Dinner Theatre thing.

Oops! I hadn't noticed that Princess Day was an extra. As for the other, I'll think about it. Not really my usual scene, but then none of this is.

I'm going to the dinner and drag show, too, if that matters, Annie. I have to admit that when I signed up it was more about wanting to cling to mother's (Sammie's) apron strings...lol. But, Clara is growing up fast. I've joined a local CD/TG support group in the Chicago suburbs and will be 'getting my feet wet' so to speak before SCC. I hope to be a big girl by then.
BTW, Annie, your little sis is here to help you in any way I can. Don't be afraid to PM me with questions or anything that's on your mind. I'm not a seasoned CDer, but maybe I can at least help calm the nerves a bit ...

Thanks Clara. I think I probably will sign up. And thanks also for your offer of PM advice. I think it quite on the cards that I may PM you or Sammie as matters arise rather than clutter Sammies' program or other threads. As it is, nerves are not too bad. I was discussing with O&O the 'special resolutions' I sometimes get (but not to order and which are I think the same thing as Abi Drew referred to as 'self hypnosis), and which provided that they are within the bounds of possibility, take such a grip on me that I overcome any inhibitions, anxieties or other obstacles to carry the subject of the resolution to completion, or permanently stop something e.g. smoking. I seem to be in the power of such a resolution at the moment and on the basis of previous experience it will carry me right through to September.

You rock, Annie! PM me if you need to, my friend. I simply can't wait to meet all three of you!
