My 3 month milestone is tomorrow, and I intended to document more heavily, sort of a quarterly report. If you guys have questions I should answer, bring some up!

ahh, my 3 months HRT womanniversary (yes, that sounds dumb, i thought of it just now) was yesterday, and in predictable fashion, i completely procrastinated doing all the documentation. instead, i'll do it today, on the 28th. But later, since it's 1:00 AM.

Alright, month 3 complete, as of January 27th 2022. I have thus far no regrets to beginning HRT, save for the price tag every month when I refill my prescription for E.
To refresh memory on what I have been taking:
-4mg estrogen, either 2 mg bi-daily or 1mg (split 2mg pill) 4 times a day
-classes?
yeah my program is rather basic, and likely deficient, as i am told by my sister that we have high metabolisms. I doubt my T is sufficiently suppressed, but it will have to do for now, until I can elaborate.

I'll likely retake these tomorrow, I had the largest meal in a couple weeks just an hour before taking them... and i feel that it shows.
I'll be talking to my HRT provider sometime in early february, which might hold good news.

Ok, so apparently my T is actually very suppressed, at 26 ng/dL. How i suppressed it? i don't know. is it a bad read? hell if i know. but man, what a surprise. fully suppressed T, 150-200 ng/dL Estrogen. I really wasn't expecting it to be this easy at my age. Maybe my brief spell on reishi a month prior suppressed the T, and then the Estrogen kept it suppressed?
idk, good news regardless, i think. saves money on AA i hope.
I really hope i'm not a dht mutant....

Congrats on the T suppression and progress~ ^.^
I'd love to tell you 100% that I have my T suppressed but as I can't risk tests--I can't say for sure from a written down lab result. However, I can say that, especially when I went to 8mg of E2 sublingual a day, that I felt much different and have all the signs of T suppression that you'd expect.
In other words I think E2 along with some natural supplements like RR for the DHT reduction and things like WP or Green Tea/Green Tea Extract is actually pretty probable in its chances to suppress T if your on the right doses and depending on genetic makeup of course.
One thing to beware though of course is taking too much E. For me when I tried 10mg just as a test months back (I'm glad I didn't have to take that much as 10mg is in dangerous territory) I noticed pretty quick that it wasn't right and I started feeling sick and nauseous >.< If you get close to needing 10mg or more to suppress T then I think using an AA would be the way to go instead.
I take my E2 4 times a day and I think that is also a key. You say you sometimes do that too by splitting your pills. I suggest you try to keep that consistent if possible since 4 times a day is also very likely to keep your levels in a much better place due to the nature of E pills having a rather short life span in your system.
Do you take your sublingual/buccal or swallow it? I assume you take a pill? I don't know if you mentioned it here as all I found was that you're taking 4mg a day. Also are you under a doctor or on your own DIY like I am?
Depending on the answers above, administration would depend on if you're taking something like Estrofem, where sub/buc is possible, and not one where it can't be absorbed into the bloodstream in that way. It's also easier on the liver too as far as I understand it on top of being more powerful as it doesn't need to make first pass. If you do take something like Estrofem though and you don't take it sub/buc you can give that a go too. Of course if you're under doctor supervision and regular testing just ignore what I said!
Anyway I probably only reiterated stuff you already know or do, but I wish you the best in your progress and hope maybe I gave you so advice that might help. Hope your growth spurt continues~

i took estradiol sublingually (kinda, more like dissolving it in my mouth and letting the estro-saliva stay there until im bored). when i had the time, ii would split it up, these days i just take 1 first thing in the morning and the other at 10:30 PM.
I have a 'doctor' as my transgender care provider, or rather a nurse practitoner.
i took a bit of red reishi over the christmas season, but quit long before the time i took the hormone tests. i don't think i'll pick it back up.
let me know if you have more unanswered questions/ ones i missed<3

Ok, thanks for the clarifications.
As for sublingual, it can be a chore if you need to talk for sure. For those situations I do buccal where you put in between lip/cheek and gum and it seems to do well if I can't find the time for sub, so maybe try that if you haven't.
Anyway, I apologize if I bothered you with the questions or felt like I was just rehashing basic info!

Wonderful!
More words escape me!
The best part of your growth is your maintaining your figure. Keeping a slender waist make your bust line look even more impressive.
Good work!
