I am assuming you originally got involved due to dysphoria, and not just wanting boobs?  Is it helping at all with the former?

Yes and no. I wanted the dysphoria gone, then wanted breasts, now I want full transition. My HRT is helping with none of that. Like I said I may as well be taking sugar pills. I've been off all my HRT for a couple weeks now, and the dysphoria is kicking my ass, and triggering depression. While on it, the dysphoria is there but not quite as awful. Also while on it, the only and I mean ONLY effect is that I cannot perform in bed. At all. Think wet noodle. Or eunuch.

There is simply no point to taking it if all I get are the negative side effects.

Hi Gamer,
  I'm not a doctor, so I will not give you advice.  However, if I was in your position I'd:

 A.)  Get new blood tests to see where my hormone levels are.  (or get copies of previous blood tests ordered by my endo).
B.) If my hormones are not where they need to be for transitioning, then I'd work to adjust my supplements to get them to transition levels.  There is info on the internet, and in this forum on what those hormone levels should be.
C.) If my endo would not cooperate in changing my prescription/s so that I can get my desired changes, then I'd go for informed consent.  In the USA I can go to a planned parenthood clinic for this, which is not very expensive.

That is what I would do, and I'd figure out some way to manage the small added expense (and hassle of traveling to a planned parenthood clinic if there was not one in my town) if I had to go outside my endo for my needed life changes.

I imagine the reason you are on pills and not injections is because of your present girlfriend ?

How are you taking your pills, are you just swallowing them, or desolving them under your tongue. 

Have you added Rutin to your daily intake ?

Are you taking an AA ?

Desolving the estrogen under the tongue for @ 30 minutes ( check to see if your tablets can be used that way ) can increase the effectivness at least 50% and lower blood clot chance by upwards of 90%.

Effective blood estrogen levels will give a negative feedback and lower your testostetone without an AA.


As reference, my injections are 1ml/20mg per 14 days. ( i split that up into 4 injections per 3.5 days )
My testosterone is 0.1 I take no AA. My out of pocket expense is only $65cdn every 3 months.

My AA is 200mg of spironolactone daily broken up into two 100 mg doses. I also drink spearmint tea every day to every other day. 

I do take my estrace 2mg sublingually.
 I'm also on a .05mg patch once weekly

Hi Billyboy here.  Regarding performing in bed I have sucess with a mix of horny goat weed maca cialis and viagra.  I like cialis best so dies wifee.  My desire returned and my arousal returns whenever I need it

I am a little older than you so there may be some differance in the effectivness of the spiro but i found just 100 killed my T. 

The general consensus is that pills and patches do not mix. You could add patches to gell or injections, but not pills. Pills need to be taken on their own. In fact the patch will decrease the effectiveness of the pills.
