Port =6697 use SSL
then type : /join #NBECHAT (as seen without the ":"
bunny is kind of using me to relate it .. so if there are issues.. blame me!

It does... I use Android IRC (free app), but there are others.
The instructions in the first post work fine, but you will probably spend some time setting things up first... not something you can just turn on first time.

Where you type to send a message enter the following:
/msg NickServ REGISTER password email
for PASSWORD enter your own password of your choosing. for EMAIL enter your own email. It is registered and processed through the server.
Next time when you sign on you will have to identify yourself to the server.
/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password
Where PASSWORD is the password you registered with earlier.
