I'm in NW GA and we've got another 4-5 days of the arctic blast headed our way. This weather is uncommon in our area, and the coldest winter here in decades. I'm getting a load of firewood tomorrow. We've still got snow on the ground from last week!
The coldest I've ever been was my first winter in Baltimore back in 1983 working outside on the ramp, loading airplanes for the airlines. On Christmas Day that year it was -60° wind chill. It was brutal.
