Another Dosage Thread...

#1

Hi,
I spent around half a year to lurking on this site and others like it before I gathered the courage to start taking pm (I also used the time to make sure that this was something I truly wanted). I've wanted to do this for years now and I am so glad to have started my path to feminization. My goal however is to not jump in too fast. I've never been a very spontaneous person and I feel as if treading lightly has served me well in the past. I'm not extremely worried about losing functionality, sterility, or about hiding them but I feel like I might as well take it slow at least initially.
On to the question that has no doubt been posted in this forum so many times that many of you may have been reluctant to open this thread in the first place... I've been taking one 500 mg capsule when I wake up and one 500 mg capsule before going to sleep but am unsure whether or not this dosage is correct. I've read in multiple threads that 1000 mg might be a "maintenance dose" and that the 1000 mg prescribed dose to women may not be large enough of a dose to get noticeable effects in a reasonable time frame (2-4 years). I am currently only taking pm and may add more substances in the future but would really prefer to just take pm for at least a few months. I also realize that many of us do not have significant research to prove an optimal dosage plan but I am sure that what has probably worked for many of you could be extremely helpful in helping me guesstimate a plan that works best for me rather than having to do it all alone Sad...Anyway, thank you so much for reading this and I am looking forward to what all of you have to recommend.
Sincerely,
SoEagerToGetStartedCantBelieveIWaitedThisLong

Hi Adamaro,
You are very wise to proceed slowly and with caution. I have spoken to one of the PM manufactures both on the phone and via email, you are perfectly correct insofar as the 1000mg per day is for generic females.

They advised me to take 2000mg (2 capsules each morning and a further 2 before going to bed). I did follow this for a week or two then increased it to a total of 6 capsules. Having said that I did try 1 week at 4000 and went back to 3000.

Many have said that taking too much (even if your body is happy with it) can be very expensive and a complete waste, sometimes may even harm your progress Sad

I am new here also and I am sure some of the much more experienced members will gladly put you on the right path.

Good luck with your program and a very warm welcome from me.

Hugs

Hi sweetheart and welcome! Yes, I am sure some do get tired of answering the same questions, which is why dear Lotus created the FAQ page. But, that said, it is perfectly understandable to want reinforcement. Smile
If you are just starting, a solid start is 2000 mgs of PM daily combined with 500 to 600 mgs of SP as an AA. It worked fine for me and many others. Try that for a year. Listen to your body and see how it feels and what you get in changes. Then evaluate after a year. You can add other stuff if you stall.
I hope that helps.Smile

Hello Adamaro.

Welcome to the board. Smile

How long have you been taking pm?

Unless you happen to be one of the few who is very sensitive to pm, you'll probably need a dosage higher than 1,000 mg to trigger breast development. 2,000 mg is the baseline I recommend for bio-males. When I started pm, I ramped up to 3,000 mg. I definitely got some development going, but several weeks after taking 3,000 mg, I experienced some estrogen dominance symptoms.

When ramping up your dosage, I suggest paying careful attention to your body, specifically symptoms of estrogen dominance and soreness or other sensations in your breasts. Once you get the sensations in your breasts, you're on the right track for dosage.

I also recommend taking progress pictures of your breasts. I find it very helpful to get feedback, especially when you're uncertain of whether you're achieving changes with your breasts.

Good luck with your NBE journey.

You're going slow, I think that's good.
You're expecting it to take a long time, I think that's good too.
You're taking 500mg morning and evening... that may or may not work for you but there's nothing wrong with trying it for a while. If you feel sensations (tingling, itching, aching or similar) in your chest or notice swelling in that area, 1000mg may be enough for you. If you don't notice anything, add one 500mg in the mid afternoon for a couple weeks. Still nothing? Go to 1000mg in the morning. And after that 1000mg in the evening and so on. I'd be surprised if you have to exceed 2000mg daily but some do. That's my suggestion anyway. Good luck.

Hello all there. I have a simple question.
I was reading when you take the pm creme or spray you already got some pm on the receptors and you shouldn t take the full dosage of 2000mg anymore is that correct?
Thanks. Tomoka

Hi Tomoka, when speaking to Pueraria UK they did not pose this restriction regarding both the cream and spray, on the contrary, they said it would enhance the results. Don't forget some of the PM is lost by the digestive system etc.

The forum's resident expert is Mistress Lotus and she has produced several very informative posts and may well be a very good port of call using the 'search' facility.

Hope I have been of some help.

Thank you all for your fantastic inputs. I've been taking pm for a little over a week now and will try to switch to 1500 and then ramp into 2000. I should ramp into 2000 in a week or so. I will try to post an update when more is going on in the boobie-area, pictures are a must too.
