Does anyone have any information about the strength of pueraria mirifica and estradiol? I have been taking 1-2 mg per day of estradiol for over a year, and have been using pm on and off for another year. Basically I am starting year 3 in March. My breasts feel incredible, but the now show through my shirts. Very hard to explain.
In order not to overdo things, I need to know how much pm equals 1 mg of estradiol.

Our dear Lotus has some info there that may help, plus there is a ton of info within the FAQ section.
I am not the science expert or I would try to help, but I bet you can find your answer in one of those places. If not I bet Lotus will be along soon with more than enough info to have your head spinning. Tee hee

I read on one of the emails that you don't want to take fenugeek while taking pm, because the fenugeek is not as strong and will weaken the overall effect of pm.
I don't really agree with that theory and would like some information supporting it if possible. I am taking estradiol, pm and fenugeek. I look at it this way.
If you are eating ice cream and put some nestles chocolate on it, then add some hershey's chocolate on top of that, you aren't reducing the flavor of chocolate, but making the taste more intense.
Wouldn't the fenugeek and pm just add to the overall intensity of the estradiol?
I don't want to take too much estradiol but I want more than the pm offers, and I have just been taking the fenugeek for so long it's just part of my routine.
I am open to any information that is out there. I'm just trying to find my way in the dark.

I don't have a source for you, but as I understand it, the strength from weakest to strongest is fenugreek, miroestrol (in pueraria mirifica), and estradiol. If an estrogren receptor is occupied by the phyto-estrogen from FG, it can't be occupied by one of the other estrogen molecules. The cell's growth response will therefore be weaker than if miroestrol or estradiol occupied the receptor.

Understand that PM does not contain Estradiol. I take 4000 mg of PM daily, yet in my recent bloodwork my results showed a weak amount of E, because the test measures Estrodial. PM contains Miroestrol, a different form of E and one which does not show up on normal endo bloodwork.
As a result of consultations with my endo I am now on 4mgs of Estrofem, or a generic substitute, plus the PM. I am trying this for a month. Today, roughly a week into this, my breasts feel like they are exploding.
I also use PC to guard against E dominance.
We are all struggling in the dark, honey, but you are not alone.

Thank you for sharing. I have cut my estrofem to 1mg per day and 1000 mg of pm. But I also am applying oestrogel twice a day. I now jiggle when I walk and just love them.
I tried the concealing t shirts, but they were so tight I had a hard time breathing. I used a tube top but I kept thinking "if anyone asks if I'm wearing a bra" that it would be worse than them asking if I have titties. I'm about at the point of just letting them dance and let the chips fall where they may.
I'm open to suggestions on this too, if anyone has a solution.

Even thou FG is a Pyhtoestrogen it's also a source for prolactin, promotes progesterone, plus so many other health related benefits. Taking it with PM has worked for me. So it really doesn't effect the receptors, it's a different action altogether. I would say the taking estradiol and PM might effect eachs others action, Sammie is experimenting with it so I'm curious to see or find out if it has any benefit. I'll be finding out myself shortly, I would probably think the same way and would try it too.

Okay, so I'm still an acolyte in the church of the NBE, so I need more instruction, Lotus.
My understanding is that prolactin and progesterone are not needed until substantial breast growth has already occurred. Therefore, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of FG in the early stages of breast growth. No?
