Transdermal vs Oral Estrogen

#1

Just want to start a new post for those who are going the transdermal route, which after much research and consideration, I see is the best way to grow breasts!

Most of the synthetic estrogens are an oral administration, which must first pass through the liver before entering the blood stream. This is the complete reverse of the way the body processes estrogen it makes itself, which travels through the blood stream and only the left-over hormone passes into the liver where it is broken down and cleaned from the body. Oral estrogens are given in high doses because they must be able to "overwhelm" the liver's ability to break them down. A portion of them will make it through the liver into the blood stream, but what doesn't puts stress on the liver and produces byproducts which are known to be "liver toxic" thus damaging the liver. The most effective means of absorbtion is via injection. However there is the added risk of infection and large doses must be given that wear off over time, causing a "roller coaster" of peaks and valleys in hormone levels. There is no advantage to recreating a woman's cycle if one doesn't have ovaries or a uterus! The second most effective means of delivery is "transdermal."

I use oestrogel from amazon which is 17-beta Estradiol

The most recommended anti-androgen is Spironolactone (Aldactone), something I've been thinking of getting but I can't seem to find it online, if anyone knows a link where to buy it online that would be great. So I'll have to go get a prescription from a doctor once I decide to add it to my program.

I've seen Proscar on amazon, and I may consider getting that in the future but it still seems like Spironolactone is better.

Again I'm a biological, real female, but have some androgen symptoms, and want to grow my breasts. I see the best way to grow breasts is to use a similar program that male-to-female individuals use, I've had enough of herbs or PM, slow results!

Yeah oral (swallowed) is how you put the biggest load on the liver. Patches are a Pain in the back side, sublingual (under the tongue) is the way to go. Some good posts off site about potency of sublingual vs. oral. One write up I saw listed potency of oral estrogens at 20-30% of the dose taken whereas sublingual was nearly 90%.

Makes me wonder if PM would follow the same model. Three times less PM for the same effect? That is if PM is processed the same way as oral estrogens are. I guess it also depends on how nasty it would be sitting under one's tongue until it was all absorbed.

My program at the moment is: nothing but research. Hopefully soon I will start on PM.

Lotus, would you ever give Spiro a chance? Reading up on it a bit, I see that coupled with an estrogen rich pill it can do some pretty spectacular stuff!

I know this is an older thread and I hope everything is working great for Gorgeous Blond???

I just wanted to chime in on all of this Wink

Ive been on lots of oral E, both sublingual and buccal (between the cheek and gum)... While that does work I agree with the OP that transdermal is a superior way to goSmile

I have seen and felt much better overall feminization since reducing oral E and switching to the OestrogelCool

I just started patches along with gel and oral but I cant see why you say "they are a pain" Huh I mean so far I just stick it on and pretty much forget about it as it slowly and steadily gives me a dose of pure E2 right to the bloodSmile Whats not to like about that aside from the high cost and low dosage Huh

As far as IM injections go this seems to me to be the best way to go and I want mine done once week to keep the E level from fluctuating too much.... My problem is finding a doc who will do it though Sad I WILL find on eventually though....

Another way that sounds good to me is E pellets implanted under the skin that last like three months... They are supposed to be expensive and hard to get though....

It is the 21'st century after all and its my hope that we see some better ways to do this than sucking on menopause pills and taking heart and prostate meds soonRolleyes Tongue

I'm not very familiar with I'M shots but can't you give them to yourself?

Yes and Id love to be trained by a nurse or doc on how to do that to myself safelyWink

Of course Im VERY leery going IM any other way aside from a legit prescription and pharmacy....

Getting pills patches and gel online is one thing, injections are a whole different deal.... I mean a bad or bogus pill likely wont do much good or bad to you... I sure wouldnt want anything but the real deal injected into me though!!! Cant easily stop the effects with an injection after allWink

I agree, I'd never do IM without the blessing of a Doctor and only with estrogen obtained from a state side pharmacy but I figured that would be as simple as asking your Dr for it since you're already seeing one right? Is he opposed to shots or has it not been discussed?
