Well just wanted to update you all on what is happening. My wife and I are still together and is working through things. Today I go and see a therapist to talk about my gd feelings. I am a little scared to talk to someone else about everything but we will see how it goes.

Oh, Andrea, I'm so glad to hear that you and your wife are starting to work as a team on your gender issues. It makes it so much easier that way. Your first visit with the gender therapist will probably be focused on preliminaries, so don't be nervous.

Andrea,
I hope everything works out for you.
Speaking from my own experience with therapy and depression, the first visit can be hard and awkward. However, you may find it to be a huge relief to talk to a professional about what has been weighing you down and what you can do to find some relief.

Best of luck with the therapist, honey. It does help a lot, but only as much as you let it. Complete honesty, as hard as it seems at first, is required. It does get easier.
