Hello everyone

#1

Hi everyone, I've been reading here for a while now and decided to go ahead and jump into the fray.
I've been crossdressing since a very young age and have always had that sense of knowing I'd rather be the opposite sex of what I was assigned. I fought these feelings my entire life and swept them under the rug as figuring they were just fleeting and not to be taken seriously.

Well here I am at the half century mark and have come to accept my girl side rather seriously the past five or so years. I've gotten my fashion style more in line with my age and have gone out in girl mode a lot lately. The most recent trip was to SF on a train, and took a 2 hour walking tour with about 40 other " tourists". That was a lot of fun.

Having said that, I guess its safe to say that I have been working up to becoming the girl I know I am inside, and having my own breasts is just the next step in that journey.

My program ( if you can call it that ), has been sporadic in the beginning starting with 500 mg Ainterol PM daily for about a month in December before I got brave and got some Estrofem 2mg that I have been on for the last 4 months.
I realize its not the smartest or safest way to go about it, but I've always been that way I guess.
So now that the synthetic was almost gone I decided to go back to the PM as the more natural way to achieve my goal, and I'm currently up to 2000mg along with calcium supplements and 450 mg SP daily.

So far I've noticed the fat redistribution and nipple changes, but little else until the other day when I noticed a soreness under my left nipple. It was very subtle and I didn't pay it much attention until yesterday I pushed on it and wow!! It hurts.

The right one is starting with the same pain but not as severe, so I guess I'm on my way.

Anyway, thats about it for my initial intro and I hope to be able to continue learning from all of you and sharing my progress.

Have a great day!Smile

Hi Kaelyn!
And as darling Emily has said, welcome to the family!
So you are going from 2mgs a day of E back to 2000 mgs a day of PM.
Well 2mgs a day of E is a very low dosage, and in truth you should get better results from PM at that amount. When I switched from 3500 mgs daily of PM to 4mgs of E I actually felt like I lost ground, which is why I began adding PM back in on top of the E. And from your description you are certainly starting. The pains are always a sign of something starting. Stay with it! The pains will come and go, and you will start to miss them when they are gone...lol

Eventually, if you stay on PM you may wish to move up your dosage to 2500 or 3000. Much higher than that doesn't help at all, usually.

Look around and make yourself at home. A lot of nice people here. Welcome. :-)

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I chose the low dose E just to be on the safe side of self medicating/ therapy and was always conscious of the fact that I was not doing it right without professional advice.

So I picked the PM back up as the better alternative and again without professional advice or monitoring.

I can't say if its the recent use of PM or the combination of months on synthetics, but there are definite changes happening.

And yes that is me in the avatar taken last year at 49.
Granted it was a pro makeover and pro photographer, but I generally look like that in girl mode.

Well, you are certainly gorgeous, Kae. Wink
I understand your caution. Without the oversight of an endo, there are always risks. Thats why, after several years on PM went to see an endo...to check for possible damage, of which there was none. But seeing him did convince me it was time to switch to pharma and medical supervision.
But you will be fine. And 2000 mgs a day will be perfect.
Expect things to be a little different.
That level of PM, I believe, is actually far more effective than 2mgs a day of E. As you say, you have already begun to feel things. But real growth does take time, as I am sure you know. Patience is a virtue.
You mention you are out a lot. Great. Smile
Do you plan to go 24/7 at some point, or are you content in the middle?
Regardless, we are happy you are here.
Hugs

Thank you all for the welcome and compliments.
I can tell this is a friendly atmosphere compared to a lot of other forums I frequent and have frequented.

To answer your question Sammie, yes love getting out as its so liberating but make no mistake, I am/ was as shy as they come when I first started.
Once I realized that a sensible presentation was the key to " blending" I knew I was on the correct path for me.
I'm very tall at 6'4" and not really fooling anyone, but I ignore the ignorant and carry on with confidence of who I am. Also due to work constraints and family, I'm content to just be in the middle for now. It's the best thing at the moment.

Thank you all again, and have a great evening.
