I never liked the word pretty - something a bit belittling and prissy about it.. You are outright beautiful, and don't forget or deny it. I don't think that the new me even now could get hooked on dancing, and in any case I'm far too unsteady on my feet, but I'm sure I could enjoy watching you. I've noticed that when girls really kick up their heels they become younger and more beautiful anyway, and you start off with great looks. Forget about the age; you're a lot younger than I am and I still have difficulty in 'thinking old'.

Yeah, I've heard it said that you're only as old as you feel. Curse those damn wrinkles though.

Sammie, I have no idea how old you are, but to me you look like you are in your 40's. You are beautiful and I wish I had your legs. Nice pics, girl.

Looking great as always, Sammie! I hope I look that good in 30 years!
I highly doubt I will though lol.

Thanks, Peggy, but I am afraid my 40s are no longer visible with any form of telescope trained out the rear window...lol. But you are so sweet!
And thanks, Sarah, but you will always be beautiful, sis.

Aaarrrggg!
A huge storm decimated our area last night and we, along with 165,000 other people in the area lost power as many trees toppled knocking down power lines and demolishing houses. We were lucky and had no damage but who knows how long power will be out. Typing on my cell in my car...sigh... my presence may be slight here for a day or so.
Hugs

Dear Sammie, I can sympathize. Doing without power for extended periods seems to have become too much a part of our life recently, although we were lucky with Arthur and only suffered a couple of trees down and a fleeting loss of power. I hope the repair crews have been suitably instructed that restoring your power is a priority; our community here needs you and your hugs!
