Oh, another little goodie arrived today. Since I may "fly pretty" to SCC, I spoke to my therapist, who has now supplied me with a formal letter identifying me as Samantha and confirming my TG status, with instructions on how I am to be treated...lol. This includes appropriate pronouns, access to appropriate gender restrooms etc. These letters are no longer necessary in most situations but I thought it might be handy, just in case. Actually, since my travel documents are all in my male name, the biggest concern my therapist voiced was whether the airport people would believe I was who I said I was and not some other person trying to use a ticket belinging to me...lol

I guess you could try finesteride with the T to at least block DHT but I cant imagine TAKING testosterone

I donno I may be in your boat soon myself... Ive been on 300mg spiro lately and I gotta say I have seen some serious shrinkage... My T was 25 before upping the spiro after my last lab a month ago... I'll have my results next week for the current regime and more after a month on IM injections... This doc is great but Im not sure he knows what he's doing here prescribing 300mg spiro and max dosage IM injections... Its gonna be interesting for sure............

Well since starting the spiro Ive seen remarkable regrowth of hair on my head Enough that the idea of hair transplant surgery isnt looking as hopeless as it used to

I was talking more about the testis, they are maybe 40% smaller than they used to be... Fortunately the other part still works but its totally different and better than ever

I think I will probably back down to 200mg spiro depending on the lab results.... No I dont get dehydrated, Ive always drank lots of water... I havent noticed any side effects at 300mg vs 200mg aside from the shrinkage I mentioned..... Gotta pee a little more and sometimes I crave salty foods like pickles, olives, bloody marys, margaritas ect

Yes maybe too "agreeable" I am seriously considering asking for 1/2 the IM dosage to start... We can always go with more fairly quickly doing the injections weekly and of course If I feel I need more I have plenty of options on hand to supplement with...
