OK so I got my second shot yesterday and didn't really start feeling better until today
I wont say A LOT better but definitely its getting back up there where I like it... I have made it through the day with no additional E and my little girls are sore on and off again much to my relief!!!
Im hoping over the next few days as this shot peaks and the first one slowly declines to feel even better.... Of course theres always the next one to look forward to as well
So what should happen here is my E levels should slowly rise to eventually a pretty high level then stay there
It is NICE not to have to constantly do the old regime of gel, pills and patches... Just Dutas and 100mg spiro in the morning, and 100mg afternoon and 100mg evening.... I also ad 100mg P in between afternoon and evening spiro and another 100mg P close to bedtime...
Im considering upping the P to 300mg a day with another 100mg P between spiro doses...
So I do still get to at least keep my pill popping habit going LOL
Of course Ive already calculated like any injection junky would that a 6.66 mg dose would make my supply last right up to my first blood test with my new doc and I will probably ask for an increase for the next shot

Well Im really really really liking this doc and his nurse
He had no problem with prescribing my request for 200 mg daily progesterone Ive been doing fine on it for a week now and plan to just keep taking it.... It does relax me and I just feel calmer so hopefully that keeps up
AND of course the "agreeable" guy he his he had no problem with upping my shots to 6.5mg weekly
I feel like Im really close now but I do feel better with just one 3mg gel dose or 4mg buccal E most days.... I hope the slight bump up will eliminate that need....
Unlike my last doc he had no problem with prescribing EMLA cream for my electrolysis... I just couldnt understand why my last one wouldnt do that
BUT Ive made enough progress with the electro we both agreed she's run out hairs for now and we should wait 2-3 weeks, get the laser done and see what comes in Im about two weeks away from my forth laser treatment and there really isnt much dark hair coming in to zap either I know I cant be done yet but it is NICE to be able to go with minimal make up and when I do wear makeup it looks WAY better now because I dont need much at all anymore
Ive also decided to start seeing a psych and getting a surgery recommendation letter, I'll need two independent evaluations and letters eventually... He wasnt my first choice, the one I wanted has a long waiting list I got on... She has a lot of experience with TG... This guy has some and has given referal letters so we'll see how that goes... It would be nice to be able to just have him agree with me and write a letter but Id also hope he will actually do some work for my money... At any rate it is documentation that I am full time for the surgeon
I know my doc will be happy to hear about this, he seemed kinda disappointed when I first saw him and told him I really had no need for a shrink.... Id think this will be only a once or twice a month deal...

I have followed all your posts with keen interest. I am still amazed at how you have developed and so quickly. As I have said before, I wish I knew just half of what you know.
I am so delighted for you and whilst your circumstances are so much more agreeable to your transition than mine are for me I am nevertheless very impressed.
I am very much older than you and with a helping of MPB like Clara has recently announced, I am very grey (gray) to boot. Whilst this does have some benefit in not creating a 5 o'clock shadow I am nevertheless wanting to rid myself of facial hair altogether for the very same reasons you have described above.
Am I right in thinking that Laser will not work for me but I will have to opt for electrolysis instead? I am seriously thinking that when I come back from holiday next month I will look into this very seriously. Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

Laser has been ineffective for me on my white/gray hairs but very effective on the dark hairs.... I have what Id guess to be 90 hours of electrolysis in to get them all cleared except for very few strays she missed...
Lucky me there WAS mostly dark hairs as you can see from that before pic I posted a few pages back
I dont mean to be discouraging but electro is a LONG expensive painful process
It took 90 hours to clear what was 25-30% of my beard so Id imagine if all you have is grey hair laser might not work for you and you will need a lot of electro, good luck

Well Im back off the progesterone after 8 days... I always feel great when I first go on it... Very calm and relaxed and for some reason it really seems to make my brain work right... I mean I can really think about stuff and read write and understand ANYTHING from complicated legal contracts and medical texts to just reading a good book and really feeling involved.... To bad that only lasts about a week though then I get increasingly bitchy and usually dysphoric
The P plays a delicate role with the E, they have to be balanced just right and thats tough to do... No wonder women get so moody sometimes, I now understand completely
So when I do go off the P I quickly start to feel much better and that seems to last 2-3 weeks... By around the end of the second week I have more of a nervous anxious feeling and I look forward to going on the P again LOL... I always start the P saying wow Im gonna just stay on it this this time.... I never seem to be able to do it though.... The closest I came was the time before this one when on my old regime Im certain my E level was higher than this time....
So I had a nice doc visit and I got my shot and we increased the dose from 5mg to 6.66 mg.... Maybe that will be the sweet spot LOL Really thats how the math came out but we were just upping it a reasonable amount to a dose that would last until my next lab visit... We can always order more though Hopefully the P will work better with the higher E but Im gonna just enjoy that increase for a while, I LOVE E

I should also add that since I started the injections my skin has definitely improved... Its SO soft and smooth now
Ive also noticed even more feminization and slowing of my body hair... For instance Ive for the most part stopped epilating/shaving my arms because the hair that is growing there now is not really that objectionable and it looks just like the hair I see on women... My formerly strong muscular somewhat hairy hands and arms are really feminizing well... I do still epilate/ shave the hair on my hands and wrists but nowhere near as often as I used to and it seems to come in less and less there now
Ive also noticed major shrinkage and darkening of the underside of my equipment... Looks almost like whatever E receptors/DNA there wants to be girl parts
It still works though but it takes some effort, there is almost zero discharge but the female type orgasm is mind blowing compared to the old male one
The only complaint so far is the highs and lows are worse than my old regime that likely had much more stable E levels.... But Im hoping the increase will help with the lows... The highs are euphoric anyway

Well yesterday my nurse asks how the increase went and she just had to tempt me with an offer I couldn't refuse.... I told her it was definitely a bit better and she says well we can up it a little more if you want Well do you think a junkie like me could say no to that Hell NO, so we are now up to 8mg The thing is, I hope we get to "enough" soon though.... The nurse said my doc has approved up to 10mg weekly and thats it... Max dosage per endo society guidelines and all, that "SHOULD" be enough Id hope... BUT its possible it wont be considering all I was on before just to feel consistently good... If thats not enough I guess we could try EV at 20mg every two weeks then Id have to likely complain two weeks is too long and try to get to 10 days then weekly ect... It must be I have a very high E metabolism likely not helped at all by my smoking Yesterday was injection number 4 so Id think it should be somewhat stabilized though we have increased on the last two...
