Hi all, as many of you will know I've been on 2,000mg of PM for almost two months.
For the past month or so, I've had problems with my vision - periods of about 20 minutes where my peripheral vision goes freaky - a bit like a kaleidoscope.
I've never had this before and have just Googled it. Seems to be quite common and looks to be an ocular migraine (though I get little or no headache with it).
Soooo, is this down to PM?! Anyone else had this? What should I do? The last thing I want to do is stop the PM just when I'm getting some growing pains.

Hello twinklepose.
Hmm, I haven't heard of pm affecting one's vision before. Maybe the two is just a coincidence?
The times I've had problems with pm the symptoms would be headaches or backaches, but nothing with vision. Perhaps someone else can relate to your symptoms?

I've had those a couple times, unlikely it is PM causing them, with me they happened (before I was even on PM) when my blood sugar got to low combined with a bit of sleep deprivation.

I occasionally get ocular migraines, but only a few of them become full migraines. I don't think PM is the cause of mine though since I've been getting them since I was around 13-14 years old.
Ocular migraines can be caused by eye strain. Maybe you've just been doing too much reading on the BN forums.
Certain foods can trigger them, especially foods that contain MSG.
Does anyone else in your family get ocular migraines or normal migraines?

I got the same thing after about three weeks on PM. Shortly after I stopped taking PM (due to other reasons), the ferris wheels went away.
I seem to recall that Bio females get them sometimes when they are on HRT.
Maybe you need to adjust your dosage. I think that is what they do with bio females on HRT.
Good luck,
Paul

Yes I have had those before. Normally when I was borderline E dominant. You may want to lower your dosage or take a few days break.
