Hmm..don't agree with that! Lol to each their own. I have a sex change date this summer. ;p
Good luck with the ffs, Eva!
I would think facial hair removal is more important, let's say even if you could afford FFS (which many can not) what then?, you're still left with that battle. My concern is we're putting too much emphasis on looks, it's the inner beauty that makes a person.
What do we say to those who will never be able afford such surgeries?, better luck next time?, your outcome is bleak, or you'll never understand what it truly means to be female?.
Who gets to decide where the bar is set?, even worse........who keeps moving it lol.
I'm not knocking the decision to change ones shell. No, I don't feel left out either.I will however agree, to each their own and pray for successful outcomes.
Good luck
Thanks LotusThere is a method to this madness... Thats why I started laser and electro before I even went on HRT.... YES thats huge right there... You cant expect to really go "full time" with a beard you gotta shave and try to cover up all the time

It helps to have some thick skin thats for sureBUT I also think a realistic look at whats possible and what you can and cant live with is essential when making a decision like this from the start.... Its HARD to not have envy and jealousy towards those that are more fortunate with genetics or resources... It sure aint cheap either!!!
I guess with me I set the bar pretty high for myself and Im fortunate to have all the $$$ I need to see it through
Ideally though our fucked up "healthcare" system would cover it all though... Please dont let any hardcore "libertarians" like I used to be hear that though, Im not in the mood for the argumentI used to think a lot like that but my thoughts on some things are changing.... Maybe its from living and seeing things from a female perspective

After you Reach that point, I feel it's more about being ok with your appearance yourself, as you hold yourself to a way higher standard than anyone else ever will. Having said that, I totally understand the feeling you get some days when you look in the mirror and see how you used to appear. I just think it's partly a mental thing...while in the other hand the difference between male and female genitalia is rather black and white!!! Hair removal is more important than either...but I guess I was taking that as a given.
I've considered FFS as well, but that will come later, if at all. Everyone I have mentioned it too tells me not to consider it rather forcefully. I don't hate the way I look, it's just a few things that bother me. I think most ggs have those too though!
Oh and Eva, Im going to Dr. chettawut. June 2nd.

You softy, don't get all squishy on me now lol. You remember the old saying "you can take the girl out of the country" blah blah blah, my point being is I'm pretty sure you'll always be packin' heat and kicking some ass, regardless of any change, lol.
Don't worry about me, I haven't been corrupted by too many of the seven deadly sins, (ok, maybe a couple).Nowadays I draw a circle, anything outside of that cirlce I can't change, I say f*** it, and obviously inside of the circle, I have the opportunity to influence a change is so desired. One thing I am quite sure of, there isn't a category for my gender variance, and for now I'm just cisgender (hang on, lol), it goes like this: MTFTM, although I'm not naive enough to think I'm the only one with this variance. So female outside (no to makeup/heels/dress etc) keep the dude inside, present as a guy and no changes to my male indentity, confused?, so are shrinks. I'm not looking to pick a fight either, you know how I feel about you.
