walmart, walgreens, target, gnc, if you can't trust them, then who?, food source is the only trusted measure, (maybe pharma).
Pretty sad, at most it's a slap on the wrist to them, they've made their billions, why would they care.

yep about sums it up.
at least I now know why I had problems with the SP Extract caps I was getting at walmart (all I could afford, other brands were $25/bottle).

If we stop shopping at these retail chains for convenience and demand accountablity things might change in the future, I applaud the NY AG's action. I've bought supplements from all those listed too. What's alarming is if someone who bought SP for BPH and something terrible happened how could you prove negligence?. I don't use walgreens anymore, the customer service and wait times is ridiculous.

You know, it's not just supplements either, manufacturers are routinely skimming products thinking the consumers won't notice, The 6 inch sub was only 5.5 inches, 16 oz of juice is only 14.4 oz., paper towels are thinner and shorter (TP too) detergent, etc.
The CHOICE basket comparison comes following a National Measurement Institute review of almost 35,000 prepackaged items in 2013–14, which found numerous examples where product weights weren't properly labelled. On average, 14% of prepacked items were not labelled in accordance with trade measurement law.

Even our local newspaper has shrunk twice in the past 15 years!! Not only in size, but page numbers and content!
They've been giving us less for a higher price for some time, now!
Then there's insane inflation. A 20 oz. bottle of root beer in the vending machine at work is at least $1.50!! In the meantime, I can but a 2 LITER bottle of the same thing at wally world for $1.00!! A candy bar I got for 10 cents when they first came out with them in the `70's is now $1.89!!
I'll bet NO ONE that was born in the `80's or later has ever even HEARD of a penny candy store!!
And, remember when wally world first started (as far as I now) back in the late `80's and all their t.v. ads touted rolling back prices every day? So, why is it that about a year ago, I could get a 2 liter bottle of root beer for about 75 cents, then it went up to 88, then 96, then a dollar, then $1.25, that's not what I call rolling back prices!! After a few weeks of my refusing to buy it at $1.25, they brought it back down to $1.00.
