Bra

#1

Is there any benefit to wearing a bra starting out, my chest is 42 breasts 46. I'm not shur what size that makes me. At what size would a bra benefit me? I've been on BO for almost 3 months.

A bra is an unnatural thing. Once you start wearing a bra you will always have to wear one because the breastligaments can not naturally develop.
Only in extreme cases a bra might be needed.
And (as a man) I like the bouncing and jiggling of my breasts.

Especially when you're starting out, I think the only benefits of wearing a bra is protecting your developing breast buds from chafing or other discomforts. If you feel fine without wearing a bra, I don't see any reason to start wearing one.

I have read in several post, from WebMD to Stronger Living, that wearing a bra can focus your breasts. That is to say, shape them. But most sites say to wear a bra will protect delicate ligaments that will prevent unnecessary drooping and other problems.

I think a good time to start, is when you start to bud to protect chaffing and everyone knows, that is when your nipples start to really show which can be an embarrassment.

It's been 3mo. My hole breast seem to be getting bigger but I read here that most people here talk about a not under there nipple that gets bigger and sore. I haven't got that the hole breast is just getting bigger. You see my meserments. I went up 4 inches in about 3 mo

When I was first diagnost with Gyne, I thought I had buds, but they didn't get larger either.

I now wear 38 C or D bra.... Go figure.

I've found my nipples have grown, both in length and girth, not yet large as the average female, but they tend to erect most of the time. My boobs are not yet large enough for a bra, but have purchased a sports bra to hide my nips, when in public or company not into a male with breasts.

Not a bad Idea.... That is along the lines of the reason for my first one. Plus, I was projecting out little cones. LOL

I've read mixed reviews on whether or not bras are good for you or not. A Google search online and you will find back and forth reviews, and research stating one way or another. It almost feels like there's new evidence that says it's fine, or no it's bad. It's really enough to make your head spin.

Personally I like to wear a bra in it helps to hide my nipples that almost always seem to be erect, and now even more so as I progress through NBE. Sure I guess I could wear pasties and such, but I guess part of me likes the idea of wearing a bra as well. Smile Besides, I would have to wear at least three layers of clothing to try and hide my nipples, and that gets hot and uncomfortable very quickly.

If you do decide to go for a bra, finding your bra measurement isn't easy. Sure the band size might be something easy to find, but the cup size will vary. Varies by style, brand etc. Even the band size can be a pain from brand to brand. The cup sizes are harder to figure out on a genetic male. I have yet to find any site to give a good way to measure cup size for a genetic male. Nearest I can figure I am somewhere between a 36AA-36A, and that's measuring at 36 under, 39.5-40 around the center. Figured my cup size mostly by trial and error.

Hommemystere website carries bra's that are more fitting to a biological male. Unfortunately not a lot of options for larger cup sizes.

I think currently the research is pointing to bras being bad, of course, it will probably change again. Wink So it may just boil down to your personal preference, and if you feel it is necessary to prevent any possible chaffing during your development.
