Not sure where to put this but I have a question and maybe someone will have an answer for me or at least a push in the right direction.
Since I became obsessed with losing weight I have been using math and using the basal metabolic rate as my base to figure out calorie needs and calorie burn from exercise. Pretty much common sense stuff that everyone should really do.
Anyway, my question is this. There is a huge difference in the equation between a male and a female BMR. Since I am xxy do I need to modify my BMR to accomodate ? Also, as my hormone levels change and I become more and more influenced by estrogen do I need to lean the equation more towards a female ruleset ?
Maybe no one really knows but I figured this would be a good place to start.
