Thanks lotus, i did wonder, my prolactin has been around 700 miu/l the last two blood tests, despite taking 8mg of estradiol each day my estradiol blood tests are coming back really low, 73 pg/ml at last test, the decapeptyl shots have my testosterone nicely suppressed, last test was 0.5 nmol/l which is low female range so im not sure i need the finasteride, only thing is now im no longer taking any anti androgens relying just on the decapeptyl, estradiol and finasteride im getting an oily forehead again, not sure if this means im androgen sensitive or whether estrogen can also cause this?

I think your experiencing the surge (testosterone) effect on GnRH therapy, that'll spike acne and oily skin. An omega 3 (not fish oil) should calm this down, it's inflammation the causes the bacteria to flourish under the skin that allows acne to escalate. A good anti-inflammatory should be a first line of defense, only not fish oil cause that only fuels it (via increase of free T through lutenizng hormone (LH).
I like GnRH therapy, but I think it misses an opportunity to use FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) to synthesize E2 signaling from the pituitary. Bobie, ask your endo about adding Coconut oil, I believe it helps synthesize the process of E2. Btw avoid raw carrots before treatment, it prevents the binding of E2 in the intestinal tract.

Well thats interesting lotus as about a month ago i switched from my vegan omega 3
http://opti3omega.com/ to the paradox fish oil omega 3, 6 & 9, i bought it by mistake actually, i guess i should try switching back and seeing what happens, why though if i where getting a testosterone surge did it not show in my recent blood tests?, im on my second 3 month decapeptyl injection now btw, do you think a low dose of an anti androgen (probably cpa since i have loads of it) would be also worth trying?

From my understanding of GnRH therapy the surge is temporary. Plus the fish oil capsule probably had something to do with an increase of Free T via LH(lutenizing hormone). Now I wouldn't toss the one you have yet, I believe it can help for depressive state, or lack of energy, (1 capsule should help). And if anything, by now most free T is likely getting synthesized by the androgens being cut-off of the pituitary.
I wouldn't think you'll need AA's at this time. Have you seen test results for LH/FSH yet?.

LH and FSH have not been tested, the gic seems to only ask for very minimal blood tests, i sometimes add tests as my gp now leaves it to me to arrange tests as and when, they dont ask for testosterone to be tested for those on decapepyl so thats one i do add

Interesting, well, being a numbers type I'd want to know my LH/FSH levels are right?, the rationale being that the pituitary is cutting off the androgen signal to the testes. So T results would be important (no doubt), but the function of LH/FSH would also be important in knowing how much is actually being lowered.
in GnRH the pituitary is like the master switch which turns off LH/FSH,

Im probably going to get blood tests done next month so will see if i can add LH and FSH, switching to a plant based omega 3 has helped with the oily skin, it's not completely cleared up but is a lot better, i increased my intake to two capsules a day today so will see if that makes any difference (its the recommended dosage), thinking about coconut oil what do you make of these capsules lotus?
http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/pr...s-60001014 i was thinking of starting with two a day and seeing what happens, i cant see me being able to swallow plain coconut oil

Those capsules have Gelatine, Glycerine, (colour Titanium Dioxide). The gelatin could be beef or pork.
This would be better, Froger has come up with some unique ways to get over the taste. Maybe pm him for the details.
Nature's Way Pure Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

However.....if you can't do the bulk version I'd go with this:

Some people may have allergies to the gelatins, or might be vegan. So that's why it maybe an issue. Plus, it might be of vegetable oil source, probably not by much, but still worth noting.
