Julie has just done something that the male half would certainly not do
Yesterday she spent the entire day cleaning, dusting, and vaccuming her office, ?
Its almost as if she is nesting,
She even went into the communal kitchen next door and started wiping down the surfaces and making neat and tidy,
Bloody hell talk about brain re-wiring

I think my wife would force me on to the stuff (boobs and impotence be damned) if it meant I'd clean up the house.

LOL OB.
You know something. I think this "Brain Rewiring" needs to be in focus. Here is what I think. It may be bullocks to some, but here goes.
I believe their is a natural given to all situations we, as human's, find ourselves in.
If we are outwardly male, we are treated, nurtured and brought up a certain way. Most of our attitudes are natural given what the "Man Up Stairs" has bestowed upon us. I am not trying to be "Preachy" or "Bible Thumping" but I suppose being truthful in my beliefs. But, being born female or male, society has raised us to fit in that particular mode. In ancient times, and I suppose even into today, there was a reason.
Men are more suited for hazards, not only in body strength but in aggressiveness. We had no time for frills, we hunted Sabre Tooth Tiger's, Wooly Mammoths for food as well as for clothing. But the needs of Society at that time dictated that. Just like it dictated that women to take care of kids, etc. I know, sounds like being a chauvinist male, right?? But if everyone would simply calm down, and think about it, I believe many peeps would agree.
Having said that, diversity is also necessary for many reasons that are obvious, and some might say "The Man Up Stairs" did just to keep things interesting.
I really have no Idea why being many years a sort of a prototype male, I started to Cross Dress. I spent many days wondering, pondering, thinking that very worry. I played American Football since I was 12, heck, I was good enough to be scouted by 4 - 5 colleges. But fate intervened and I badly separated my shoulder and it bothered me physically even to this day.
I believe, that when things happen, we all adjust to our new situation. If we start feeling like we are female, we adjust. Rather that is internal rewiring or not, who knows. But I think it is just us trying to do what we perceive we should do under the situation dictated by our new appearance and perceptions.
So, don't look at it as "nesting", look at as feeling free enough to do what you feel you should of done all along with out the restrictions of being "male".
I hope this rambling does make sense and not preachy or minimalizing what we all go thru in different amounts and stages.

My biggest change is counter-intuitive. Someone this week complimented me on my increase in assertiveness.
Having been always pretty meek and mild, in their words, "you have grown a pair (of balls)". According to my last blood test, my T levels were below the normal range for a female let alone a male.
I think my wife would like it if I started nesting, but I look at the mess the house is in an just don't know where to start. None of us in the family are home makers by any stretch.
Mind you, I have had the urge to take up sewing. My mother was a seamstress back when she was alive and very good at it.

I wonder if you are getting more assertive to compensate what you know is going on with your body and mind???

I know one thing, me and my wife had 4 children. About a week to 10 days before giving birth, she always went into a cleaning frenzy.
I wish I knew more on women's bio mechanism, cause Lenneth, I think you may be right.

Looking at it simply, I'd say that you may simply have embraced a freedom to explore ALL things female. Bit like a kid in a sweetshop, try 'em all and see which ones taste nicest.
Having said that, I've known crossdresser friends in the past, who, when dressed just loved to clean house, so you are by no means unique.

GD can be a continuous strain and quite exhausting if you have the mental symptoms. After a certain amount of herbal HRT, my brain very much started to go "ALL SYSTEMS ONLINE, OPTIMAL SYNCHRONIZATION ACHIEVED, POWER LEVELS NOW AT 100%". Prior to it my max was more like 60-70%. Sure there is a decrease in aggression, but I don't have to burn willpower just to function anymore. Just being happy and feeling balanced made dealing with arbitrary BS much easier.
