I have Prolactinoma!!

#1

Hi everyone, I hope your all well.

A while back about 12 days ago I started taking Fenugreek, as research told me it helped breast growth, and increase Prolactin levels. Sounds like something I need, I thought. I was on 4 caps a day, 2x morn. 2x night, = 4000mg. I stopped taking FG about 7 days in, because I noticed something a little troubling - one of the signs of Prolactinoma. I have _slightly_ blurred vision when I look through my left eye, things up close are a little blurred, distance is fine no problem, I can still see writing up close, just not too small. Otherwise vision out of both eyes is normal. I only took FG because I thought it would help with breast growth, but of course its now flushed. I think the pressure has actually reduced slightly, giving better vision, but I'm still going to get it diagnosed and put on the right medications. Can it reduce any further by itself? Would the intro of PC help to draw any of away from the pituitary gland? I'm reading about the treatment on various medical websites, and I feel confident it can be fully corrected. I am concerned about the possibility of it re-forming after I start any HRT treatment. I'm currently scheduled for my first appointment soon. Any suggestions or advice would of course be welcome! 4000mg, may have been a tad high to just jump on into.

Thank you Janet,

Yes I did dive in head first didnt I? 4000 a day was too much, probably shouldve stuck to 1000. Anyway, I'm going to see my GP tomorrow and tell him my breast desires, but now I am scared that the pre-existing condition might cause him to throw cold water on my plans! Sad Do you think I can still start the HRT _after_ my problems are gone, and that they should stay at 'normal' levels for someone like me? I know PL is important in breast growth. Oooohhh I hope I havent de-railed my plans before my journey can begin!!! SadSad
