I currently see a psychiatrist that specializes in mainly behavioral/depression topics, but he is also a therapist. Also on his site it says he specializes in:
Anxiety
ADHD (ADD)
Autism / Asperger's Syndrome
Behavioral Disorders
Depression
Gay / Lesbian Issues
Grief Counseling
Medication Management
Mood Disorders
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Oppositional & Defiant Children / Adolescents
Panic Attacks
Phobias
Relationship Issues
Schizophrenia
Self-Esteem Issues
Spirituality / Faith Issues
Stress Management
Tourettes Disorder
Is it worth just...spilling the beans to him? I trust him completely and i'm worried that if I get what i'm feeling off my chest that he will view me differently etc. What are your thoughts? And no I don't know that I have GID or GD, but i've been very close to ordering estrogen from a uk pharmacy (assetchemist.co.uk) multiple times, but back out due to the thought of "what if I screw up?". I've been on pueraria mirifica and natureday long enough to have some small breast growth (enough to be noticeable to me) and my hips seem wider, while I have a ton of stretch marks leading out from my taint up my inner thighs...so i'm thinking my pelvic inlet(or maybe outlet?) has expanded quite a bit. When I look at myself in the mirror with what I percieve to be bigger hips/butt...I love it! But i'm scared and I need someone to talk to. Should I go to the psychiatrist i've been seeing since I was 15(now 22), or should I see someone new entirely?

I guess you are in the UK?

It would be nicer if your doc listed LGBT or gender issues rather than gay/lesbian but that's still good. If they are not experienced enough to discuss trans issues they'll certainly be able to refer you to someone who can. Or if you can find a gender therapist that could be better but you've been seeing this doc for so long you won't have to go through your whole life story all over again. ^_^
Do you feel comfortable speaking with him. That's important too, of course.
Note : Do
not buy E from a UK pharmacy. It is legal to
buy hrt meds in the UK, but it isn't legal to sell them, so if a UK site is offering it without prescription I would be incredibly suspicious. It's either not E, a scam site, or the meds are imported from abroad anyway. Check out the Synthetic Hormones section for safe places to buy

I think most of us are using alldaychemist.

I wish I was in the UK. No, i'm in the transphobic, gay hating US of A. :/. And thanks, for that info! Question about lab testing....I have NO places near me to get my blood tested for E levels/Potassium levels. I don't have a high potassium diet anyways, and I've never had a bad effect from the phytoestrogens in the herbs, so would a starting dose of like...100 or 200 mgs daily of spironolactone and 2 mgs progynova work? Oh and that assetchemist place offers a service that they make a prescription for you (that comes from actual doctors) as long as they believe they reasons you gave are good.

ah... then therapy for gay/lesbian issues could have a different meaning from what I hear. :/ Yeah. I'd look for a gender therapist.
I would really discourage you from buying from a site based in the UK.
Everyone's mileage varies in terms of dosing. From my bloodwork, my E is really high considering the dose of estradiol I'm on, but at the same time Spiro is struggling to block my T. If you are going to self med without monitoring, go very very slowly and carefully. Start with just Spiro. 100mg would be fine for a week. Just to see if you have any bad reaction to it. You can split the pill and have half in the morning and half in the evening (it has a really short half life). After that, assuming you feel fine, you could try adding 2mg progynova. Stick with that combo for a month (again, assuming you do not have any negative side effects, in which case stop immediately). Then after that it is going to be guess work on how to up your dose. :/
DISCLAIMER : I'm not a doctor. I'm not qualified to be giving medical advise. What I say is based on my own experience and your mileage will vary.

Yes they do, but the issue is...the nearest one is over 150 miles away from me. Not really a doable drive.

That is quite a distance, I'm curious approximately where are you located?

That is out there. Just an FYI, I haven't used them but you can use
Walk in Labs to run your own lab tests. They have a location in Greenbay that will draw the blood.
