It may be true (and I agree) that if you stop BO so does further physical progress. However, it may be that Point Of No Return could be mental as opposed to physical. The more you see change the more you want it and the more you get it the less you care of consequences. Try stopping after 6 months of NBE... not that easy.
Whilst I would agree with that idea entirely, it would then beg the question of say Synthtic HRT, and/or other herbals that have (for some) the same psychological effect.
Which would then make you ask, Why do folks seem to single out BO?
It would appear that NBE (BO included) fell short of some folks expectations, aka-jumping the fence. I know of dozens (self included) of males started here at BN and with NBE (red clover, SP, FG) a starter kit imo. Then, as time progressed, that wasn't enough, the next progression...PM. Sooo, after maybe say 12-24 months? of PM things didn't progress as fast either...enter BO. My experience with BO ended poorly (Mayko knows my deal w/BO). Eventually, folks find their way back to PM. During which GID worsens I might add, (self doubt torments and you need to be you), then either you use DIY hormones or seek medical care to match your current GID, doesn't mean full transition y'all, the gender variants are vast, it took me along time to find a doctor (not an endo) that specializes in transgender care.
The BN forum peeps are very helpful during the rough patches, kudos to all that help (put in, what you get back).
When the body is deprived of androgens, the therapy is termed castration-based therapy as the lack of androgens mimics castration. By competing with circulating androgens for binding sites on prostate cell receptors, antiandrogens promote apoptosis and inhibit prostate cancer growth.
Btw, to make clear, males taking anti-androgens mimic castration, we can't say we didn't warn folks, right Julie?. (Julie warned me about BO a couple of years ago).
and on the other hand, dozens don't cross the point of no return (the fence). Happiness (for them) are a pair of B's, that's cool too......either way, we be cool @ BN. If you desire DD's and a booty like a cadillac...so be it.
