it was mentioned in a post a few days back about having tissue in the shape of a donut in their breast but nothing behind the nipple. I have the same thing in my breast and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, if so what is it? from reading the bud grows from the nipple rearward and expanding into the glands. behind the nipple is just a hollow spot both breast are the same. not sore or sensitive just somewhat solid. Any ideas?

I think that it's just the concentration and discomfort attributed to budding.... Think of it like a jelly centered donut.... There is something in the middle, but just not as solid as the glands due to swelling and noticeable discomfort with it. Besides. All that's in the nipple is ducts, real fine ones so, I am not sure anyone would feel such a fine network, unless you get to the point of lactation...

This is what I have too. A donut surrounding the nipple with no tissue behind.

It's baffling to me because everywhere you go on the internet you read "you get a dime size hard lump behind the nipple which then grows to a quarter and then fills out the breast".

That's not what I have at all. I have nothing at all behind the nipple, just an empty gap. But I have something like a thin flat donut a little larger than a quarter surrounding my nipple.

I think a lot of it has to do with how quickly budding comes on, and if it did in stages. For instance starting, then stopping HRT or Herbs ect .

Also everyone's body is just a teeny bit different, not to mention genetics.

This sounds like outward branching (conective tissue) while the empty feeling in the center is the ductal system not yet filling in. In other words, an imbalance of progesterone to estrogen, prolactin could be low seeing the under development of the branching, aka milk ducts (lol, not duds) that's my guess FWIW.

So are we missing progesterone or what are we missing?

Actually I believe prolactin is the weak hormone that needs attention. I'd run 1-2 cycles of influencing production followed by equal parts progesterone/estrogen (studies prove this combination initiates growth phases over single hormone use). After 1-2 months cycle back to E2/progesterone.


Blessed thistle, shatarvi, coconut oil are some examples I'd use, or other prolactin producing herbs. Keep in mind higher prolactin keeps estrogen and progesterone low, or inversely related.

What about something like Goats rue, L? since it builds breast tissue? (without possibly lowering P or E?)
