I am doing mine via a solicitor this time, I know it is simple to do oneself but, well sometimes it’s easier that way.
Whilst I am Boris here I have had an asexual first name in the physical world for some years now. I have no plans to go back to a gender based name.
The only transgender people I have spoken to are the folks here, perhaps that is why deadname was unknown to me.
For emails and snail mail asexual works out fine as well, I have penpals that I have written to for years who have never asked. The thing I find interesting is that “bookish” penpals are all female, or perhaps I should say they have female first names.
By bookish I mean people with whom I discuss books.
