1 or 2 sizes less than your mom...

#1

is often quoted as to what expectations to have in size for trans women, well it`s not always true!
turns out i`m the same bra size as my mom!

we were out shopping the other day and the Bras were on sale, so i picked up a nice plain lilac one that matches some of my tops, my mom saw it and liked it so she went looking to get one herself, so I showed her where I found it and helped her look, I asked her what size she was and it turns out we`re the same size! and it also turns out I had the last one in that size.
Too slow mother dearest! Big Grin

ironically I`m the same height she was at my age too, and roughly the same weight, Aaaand we have similar tastes in clothes, or rather she really likes My taste in clothes but some things she wouldn`t dare wear (maybe it`s an age thing?).

so i guess I can stop worrying about this 1-2 sizes less than nonsense, because i`v passed that, so this should give some hope to others out there worried about the same thing, coz it aint necessarily so! Cool

I heard some years ago that there had never actually been any study that showed that TG people tend to be a size less than their nearest relative after HRT. This is apparently the equivalent of an old wives tale. I've read hundreds of forum accounts over the years on breast growth and many have contradicted this idea. And there have been many accounts of TG women growing quite large breasts. I think it's generally a "you never know what you'll get" situation.

The size barrier catered to peeps from doctor's is sort of hit/miss in my opinion.  I believe genetics play a big role, as does the age at which you start.  Also, if you can drive up your growth hormone, or are naturally gifted to be on your plateau with GH, then there's a good chance that if your Mom and Sisters are DD cups, you should plan on being at least a D cup yourself.

I have come to accept my piddly little Bs as the most I am likely to achive.

Janet - Do you massage regularly?  Ive found that daily massage has helped with shape & volume.  I occasionally use PC and PM cream (maybe twice a week) but I wasn’t originally looking for fast growth and it was very gradual until I started the massage.  That has seemed to pick up the speed!  I was a little surprised at first but am pretty happy with the way things are developing now!

There is breast implants too, since you are living as a woman.  That would make it worthwhile......   Right?
