Nice to meet and talk to you all

#1

Hello all,

Ive been a lurker on this site before joining ( like many of you im sure ).

I finally joined for 3 reasons:
Firstly, i had a bad reaction to pueraria, and want to create a thread on it later on to see any thoughts from experienced pueraria users.
Secondly, being that i had a negative reaction to something touted as the strongest breast growing/feminizing herb, i want to talk to other people on similar journeys about other options to pursue.
And lastly, i joined because i have alot of thoughts on crossdressing, feminization, sexuality, and many of the topics discussed here. So, i feel like it will be a good outlet for me, and possibly i could add a bit of helpful discussion myself.

A little about me:
Im a male. I dont think i have gender dysphoria, and i don't think i am transminded. I don't feel like a girl in a boys body.  I feel like, if there was a way i could transform into a girl, i would do it and i would live the rest of my life that way for sure.

My sexuality reflects that, i pretty much can only imagine myself as the girl when i am watching porn. My mentality outside of sex, i feel,  also reflects that.  Im not super assertive or anything masculine.  I don't talk with a high voice or any feminine inflection, there is no outward appearance that im anything but a regular guy.  But in my mind, i want to be small and fragile, beautiful and pretty, and go through life experiencing the world in the way a female does, if that makes sense.

In the past ive had prostate issues, and discovered herbal supplements that can help. Through that research and trial and error i learned about how they work.  The effects of anti androgens etc. When confronted with that material, i of course saw and desired what most men see as 'unwanted' side effects.

So, ive been taking reishi mushroom for quite a bit, recently added spearmint capsules to my program also. Ive seen zero decrease in libido. If anything ive been increasingly horny. I theorize that both reishi and spearmint, since they stop testosterone from converting to dht, the end result must be a lack of dht BUT a surplus of testosterone? And that testosterone may not be as powerful at dht receptors in my body, BUT whatever receptors that effect horniness must only need testosterone to function.

Anyhow, the goal of my herbal regimine has always been simply to limit testosterone.  I always research things.  I only take studied and safe amounts. I listen to my body and react accordingly.

Id like to see myself grow breasts, produce an hourglass figure,  shrink my male parts. But there are limits, even with pharma drugs, it isn't magic. I know alot on these boards share my desires, and hope to talk to you all much more in the future!

How's your cholesterol situation? Cholesterol is a key building block for testosterone so it's a factor to consider.

Hey nice to meet you.

So, i went to the doctor around this time of year last year for a routine check up. Part of that, he wanted a routine blood test, which everything came back normal he said ( at that time this was just before i started any antiandrogenic herbs ).

I asked him if he checked by cholesterol, because that was something i was unaware if i should be concerned about getting older ( just turning 30 ). He said that blood test didn't check for that, but if he ever thought i should be concerned about cholesterol that he could order a test.  I think hes a conservative guy, only wants to test things he feels he has to.  But i also think he's only ok as a doctor.  I mean, why couldn't he just order the test if i asked? Im not worried about it, but i dont get how all that works. In the end im the one paying for it right? But whatever.

So, essentially, i don't know my exact cholesterol status. But also i had no idea about a cholesterol testosterone connection until now. That's probably something worth looking into.

So, briefly looking at google and seeing a page referencing that testosterone is or can be created from cholesterol, i suppose the logical diet plan for a low t person would be to limit cholesterol?

Hello,  Sister Jennique.

Welcome to BN, and to your personal journey.  Most people who come here don't know quite what they want, but it sounds like you are an exception, knowing exactly what you want and how best to achieve it.   I hope you stick around and share your experiences.   We all learn from each other.  This is still pseudo science without any real concrete evidence.  We know some things that sometimes work,  and we know why they should work, but it's not perfect.

If you get the chance we also have an IRC channel you can check out.

A couple red flags here. You should always get a cholesterol result from your blood test! Also, consider getting your psa read- this is also a blood test. This monitors whether you have prostate cancer.
The Dr works for YOU. He should somewhat you want him to do (within reason) , if not find a new Dr!
