I had a rather pleasant experience this morning. I went to a gym that I rarely visit to work out. At this gym, you have to leave a photo ID at the front desk to gain admission. I had a good workout, wearing a sleeveless tee and gym shorts. As I was leaving, with my tee quite wet with sweat and clinging to my torso, I stopped by the front desk to retrieve my photo ID, and the female clerk reached for an ID and said "Here you go, Nellie, I hope you had a good workout," while handing me some other patron's ID. I said, "Well, thank you, but I am Will, not Nellie." She apologized profusely, and I assured her that I took no offense whatsoever.
Now this probably is not any sort of momentous event, but I must admit that it made me feel good.
