Hi All,
The recent cold weather here in the UK has really been getting to me, feeling cold all the time just couldn't get warm, so as an experiment I stopped taking all supplements; it gradually helped and I felt a lot better, on Monday (after a 2 week break) I started taking PM & DIM (again), about 3-4 hours later I was shivering with the cold
So is it just me or does PM (or DIM) do something to body temperature?

That's interesting - do you think PM (or DIM) would help with weight loss if it lowers your temperature and therefore your body has to burn more calories to keep a steady temperature?
I've been feeling cold too - only had 2 days on PM capsules so far, but the house is cold as confirmed by thermometer.

Not sure if it would help with weight loss, feeling cold always makes me hungry, I always gain weight during the winter then struggle to lose it in the spring.
In the past I've always changed/started supplements during the summer, so I haven't really noticed any temperature/comfort changes; this winter has been a particularly cold one, plus the cost of heating has been painful, so I really notice any change.

I suppose there's too many cakes / chocolates / junky foods in the winter due to various festivities.
Do you find the feeling of cold mainly on your legs and feet?

I do not know if this is a good answer, but a really quick search on the web came up with this quote..........
Compared to men, women have less muscle, which is a natural heat producer. They also have 6 to 11 percent more body fat than men, which keeps the inner organs toasty, but blocks the flow of blood carrying heat to the skin and extremities.

It's just a feeling of being more susceptible to the cold when on PM, like someone has turned the heating down a few degrees.
Also being gender fluid, I have noticed I tend to feel more male during the winter and more female during the summer.
Maybe it's just me being weird

Only if we have a warm UK summer?
Besides, depending on whether you CD or not, if you did, summer means dresses and skirts and stuff.
Winter coats and trousers.

Hi @JiggleAdict
I was really interested to read your thread, I'm suffering the same coldness and chills in the UK too after taking PM and RR. I thought it was just a result of my underactive thyroid but now you have me thinking differently.
It seems a balance on the PM and RR , if i double my dosage of both in one taking i get Diarrhoea too . So i found it better to take normal dosage but twice a day , morning and night. But the chills stay with me. It's like the itchyness of my breasts ,...i just put that down to the PM and RR working.

This is an interesting observation. I'm in the UK too, trying to keep the heating costs down and yes, I am feeling the cold as well.

Hi love,
It's lovely to hear you're in the UK too ! aren't we all keeping the heating costs down - they are atrocious ! but even on top of that i did notice i felt colder while i am taking the PM . From what i can remember of last summer and autumn too i had cold fingers and toes .
