LisaM HRT Transition

#21

LisaM

At this stage in my mtf transition, I sometimes have to go out as the old male, I absolutely hate it.

My wife took two bras that had a seam in the cup and stitched the cups absolutely flat, this holds breast tight against chest, very little breast protruding.  No one can tell, bra show’s sometimes, can live with that.

I know, I need to keep reminding myself I'm 58 yrs old and only 4 months into HRT so should keep expectations realistic. It's just hard sometimes.

I think we all get in a hurry.  My wife tells me all the time just slow down and enjoy the journey.  How a cis woman can make it sound so simple.  I ask her all the time do you think this transition will make me as smart as you. LOL

Week 19

Week 10 on E

Nothing new really, I'm not sure if the 7.5 MG Oestrogel daily is sufficient to class as monotherapy or not. The GTE and Reishi mushroom may be aiding things too.

Skins still soft, scent is non existent, libido right down, ejaculate clear and hardly any, no morning wood or random erections.
I feel great in myself, I'm still amazed by how vivid colours are now (surely someone else has had this as well, I can't be the only one)

Next week I'll do my stats again and see where are for month 5, until then I'll just keep plodding along Smile

Week 20

Week 11 on E

It's measurements time again!

Week 20 statistics:

First the starting point.

Height: 5ft 10
Shoe size UK 9 (US11, EU 43)
Neck: 16
Bust: 42
Chest: 40
Waist: 35 (32-inch jean waist)
Hips: 38
Upper Thigh: 21.5
Ankle: 9.5
Biceps: 13
Wrist: 6.75
Hand Width: 5

Blood Pressure: 147/81

Weight: 12 stone 9 pounds (177lbs)

------

Now the week 20 values:

Height: 5ft 10
Shoe size UK 9 (US11, EU 43)
Neck: 16
Bust: 44 (+2)
Chest: 41 (+1)
Waist: 39 (I fit in size 14 women's jeans - just...) (+4)
Hips: 42 (+4)
Upper Thigh: 23.5 (+2)
Ankle: 9 (-0.5)
Biceps: 13
Wrist: 6.75
Hand Width: 5

Blood Pressure: 113/77

Weight: 14 stone 8 pounds (204lbs) (+27)

Well.

I'm really happy with BP considering the weight gain over the last 5 months.

Weight wise, yes I'm trying to gain weight because subcutaneous fat softens angles and creates curves, but still not really female distribution Sad
I'm likely being too optimistic as it's only been 5 months total, but still...

I spent a huge proportion of my life being slightly underweight, it wasn't until my late thirties that I put weight on so it's always a bit shocking for me when I realise I'm probably as my heaviest ever. I feel ok though, and being fairly tall I'm not looking terribly 'chunky'

Regime change - no change this time, just more of the same.

Week 20

Week 12 on E (7.5 mg daily Oestrogel 2x pumps every 8 hours or so)

I was wondering what to put in here this week when I noticed that I've now hit the 3 month milestone on the big E so I wanted to share what changes I've discovered so far (for me) that have happened.

In the main I feel its pretty positive, although I try very hard to take a zen approach to the journey and just look at the next thing that's directly ahead rather than the big picture because that way leads to madness and would be overwhelming.

So, Positive things I've noticed:

Body odour - Gone, by that I mean when a man sweats it gets kinda musky and is well... stinky. I don't have that anymore and I don't miss it.

Sweating - Much reduced, I bet if I sweat a quarter as much as before, that's all it is.

Skin - Softer, and (especially as I've put weight on) muscles are less defined, and I feel a little less 'angular'

Emotions - Harder to quantify, I don't feel significantly more emotional than before, certainly no mood swings. I'm a lot happier in myself, it may be one of those things that others around me may notice more than I do.

Breast development - It's happening Smile  sore nipples,  - check, breast mass increasing, - check. The tissue is a bit firmer than just overweight moobs, and not as firm as muscle. Even my wife has commented that she can see a bit of a difference.

Colour acuity, I see primary colours more vividly than I used to.

No more enlarged prostate , I can pee in the mornings without even thinking about it!

No insane sex drive
---

Things that I hope will change but I'm being ambitious as this stage in the transition.

Body hair going or at least reducing significantly. I hate hate hate having to shave my chest / shoulders / back / arms

veiny hands, lower arms as subcutaneous fat builds up

fat redistribution to the female model

Facial changes (I'm aware at 58 not very much may happen but I remain ever hopeful)

Things I'm not liking that have happened

To be fair I'm struggling to think of much

Nails have got a bit softer and thinner which is annoying, I'll have to go back to gel nail polish again.

That's all the physical changes I can think of, if any more occur to me I'll make a further post.
