Glandular assisted HRT regimes

#1

Hi all,
Interesting to read up on our ever lovely Lotus and her new notes about glandular adding to HRT so thought it might be a good idea to see who else is on HRT & glandular, so that we can compare regimes, desired outcomes and discuss possible tweaks or additions that may help.

How I got here - I was originally on PM and supplements but wanted to promote more all over body feminisation, basically I reached my breast growth target of B-cup and on seeing the curves I realised that I wanted the bottom curves to match the top.
This initially took me to BO, which interested me for the body feminisation aspects, but trying to get hold of it in the UK at the time was mega difficult, which left me looking at HRT.
However, as I'm a male staying male, I knew that HRT was a BIG step and something not to done lightly, but after a lot of further research I concluded that realistically it was the only way of achieving matching top & bottom half curves.

So I took the plunge, started on HRT and was really pleased with how it started to add some lower curves, that took me to about 12-months, but BO and glandular was still on my 'do more research' list. The idea initially being to swap out HRT for BO & glandular, but then switched doing both.
Without re-iterating all the pro's cons of BO/glandular here, I chatted to a couple of others who are on HRT & glandular and so decided to try it for a minimum of 3-months.

So my initial HRT regime was:
  • 2mg (upped to 4mg)/day of Oestradiol valerate (Progynova) - sublingual
  • 2mg Finasteride (swapped to 5mg Dutasteride)/day - sublingual
  • With the usual supplement mix of Vitamins, etc

As I wasn't too happy being on Duta long term, even though it significantly reduced my bald patch, after first checking that I wasn't allergic to it, I swapped to RR

HRT regime post 12-months:
  • 2mg (upped to 4mg)/day of Oestradiol valerate (Progynova) - sublingual
  • 500mg (upped to 1500mg)/day RR - rectal (dissolved in water)

Added a couple of months ago:
  • 500mg (upped to 1500mg)day  Swanson Ovarian glandular - rectal (dissolved in water)
  • 80mg (upped to 240mg)/day Swanson Pituitary glandular - rectal (dissolved in water)

Added last month
  • 2xpumps/day Progesterone cream - rotated application thighs, scrotum, breast, forearms and as part of my skin care routine every night on my face.
  • 2~3 cups/day green tea (with a thumb size of ginger thrown in)

Supplements:
  • VitD 10,000 every 3rd day
  • VitC every other day
  • 500mg/day Niacin (possibly improves immune system, blood pressure, skin, brain & blood fats)
  • coconut oil (applied to my eczema)
Very happy with current progress, breasts are filling out (a bit too) noticeably! Lower half fat redistribution is shifting to my butt and partially to my hips, belly fat certainly feels less when wearing my leggings / skinny jeans etc. Head hair still growing, as in my bald patch has not returned. Lovely soft skin everywhere, apart from my usual allergy induced eczema!

Not so happy with but expected - a bit of atrophy of my manhood- shaft and balls and much lazier erections, but the flipside that totally negates this is the all over body orgasms Smile WOW

Considering further tweaks/additions
  • upping E to 6mg/day - sublingual
  • extending my BO & PG trial to 6-months or more likely committing to a 12-month trial
  • DHEA - Swanson 100mg/day - oral (lots of good health benefits)
  • More butt/thigh/legs/tums exercises to help fat redistribution and lower half curves
I didn't want to add an image to this post as its about regimes, but will create a progress post elsewhere once I've taken a decent enough image.

In conclusion, I think that this is not too bad a glandular assisted HRT regime as I am overall happy with the results I'm getting, so over to anyone else who wants to add their glandular assisted HRT regimes and or suggestion / related experiences.

Hope that all makes sense and is of interest.

Hi wee2er,
I've been on BO/PG for about 2 years now and and what you say about the atrophy is true and a little bit inconvenient.

So my question, does HRT cause penis atrophy?

It's not that I am not happy with BO, my breasts are more feminine and my bottom has taken on a little extra fat and my womens attire fits me much better than it ever has. However I would like to have those defined feminine curves where I could be mistaken for a woman in jeans if someone saw me from the back. Does HRT help with that?

But who knows maybe I have that already, I never see myself from behind.

Maybe we could chat DM if you have any insight on it,I don't want to take your thread to far off subject.
Thanks,
Tomi

Hi tomi66,
Atrophy.... mmmmm. There's a few things I'm looking at to help negate this.
Jelqing (stretching technique) - I keep revisiting Jelqing, as it has helped in the past, but nowadays I struggle with the technique due to my apadravya piercing, which gets in the way. I could of course remove it but every time I've done so it causes more problems than its worth so it now stays in 24/7/365; but I'll persevere as I am sure it helps for length and girth.
DHEA - I'm currently evaluating DHEA, as this in very broad terms, in pill form seems to help everything! which is the main reason for peaking my interest. Our wonderful Lotus has provided us with loads of research from which I'm delving more into as there is also a suggestion that it improves sexual performance and if applied, as cream, to the genitals it may promote growth down there. What I'm unsure about is how can I do both pills and cream without overdosing on it?

Does HRT cause atrophy....
I'm no expert, but my experience is, I did over a year on PM and had no atrophy at all, just breast budding & growth, I've only been on BO/glandular for a couple of months and that doesn't seem to exacerbated the issue either. So in my case, I'd say, yes, HRT is the main culprit for the atrophy. Furthermore, as I am continuing on HRT for the foreseeable, so expecting more atrophy (very scary) which is why I'm looking at what can be done to negate the demise!

Defined feminine curves....
When I look in the mirror and depending on what I'm wearing I am surprised by the curves that are developing. Actually, so much so that I now won't wear some of my more fitted dresses as I think they look too fem! I'm male staying male who wears a mix of (so called) men/women wear, but always male presenting.
Once amab has gone through puberty our hips are set, even considering the many who are on HRT reporting that their hips have widened, in fact I think mine have to, but only very slightly. In my mind convincing fem hips/profile isn't going to come from HRT alone, diet and exercise is key along with a solid feminisation regime.
Exercise - I've started doing a legs, bums and tums workout at the local sports centre (which is killing me LOL) and trying out different hip/butt workouts from various ladies on YouTube. The goal is to get the lower half as toned as possible which should help in the curve department.
Diet - I'm slowly but surely loosing weight, but the fat redistribution seems to mask any losses, but the goal is to loose the belly, or at least get it down to a feminine little mound.
Feminisation regime - HRT is by far the best for overall feminisation - period, fact end of! However, I am now convinced that BO/glandular is a worthwhile addition as it seems to speed up the process and although I've not experienced what others have, adding BO/glandular gives them a better overall mood, feeling etc.
I suppose if someone wants to appear more feminine then they also need to consider mannerisms, walking, posture etc. I for one wont be bothering as its just the curves I want, although that said, I have noticed over the last few months I walk more with my hips swaying, just seems to be a more natural and comfortable way of walking these days, have my hips changed, who knows?

Hope that helps.

Hi all,
A quick regime update

Pituitary Gland - From our love Lotus, her research suggests PG is not needed when on BO, as such I have about 3-weeks supply left then will do a few months off PG and see if there are any noticeable changes in how the BO feels.

Progynova - Its getting harder to find a UK bank / online TX that will send money to Vanuata, so I've been looking at swapping to an E cream but not really found a good reliable source / at the right price. Best seems to be Biovea, but that's expensive!

Then as I'm happy with the size of my breasts, I'm now contemplating dropping E altogether to focus more on prog to fill out what I have and BO for feminisation, to which I'll probably add DHEA.

From my research it is the lack of testosterone in ones body that causes the atrophy of ones penis. Just like if a woman takes testosterone it will enlarge her clitoris. Now obviously hrt is a combination of introducing female hormones and trying to stop, or eliminate male hormones from be produced or being able to be used by the body. So it does work hand in hand and even faster when hrt is also involved.

But if someone had their testicles removed and did not use testosterone replacement nor did they start HRT their penis would still shrink due to the lack of testosterone in their system.

I think atrophy is more from lack of erections than lack of testosterone, the skin just gets used to not stretching. High E and low T pretty much kills off spontaneous erections and the erctions you get while sleeping. They also become more difficult to get and maintain even when you want to. I am on Tadalafil daily to counter the last point however it does nothing for the early points.

I'm sure it all plays a role. Low test, high estrogen, lack of use def all plays their part it atrophy.

It is, its a combination of all T, E usage.
I try to get erect everyday and use jelq stretching when I can.
I know some have used T cream which has worked but I'm fairly sure you cant get T in the UK so that wouldn't be an option for me Sad

Have you tried napsgear.org it's a underground website that bodybuilders use to source steroids. Down side is that they don't offer easy payment options. I have used it many times In the past.

If you order from there look for companies that ship from the UK vs overseas. Lease chance of customs getting involved.
