Yes Swanson's is the brand most people use. It's sold on Amazon, but if you buy direct from their Web site they run deals all the time, you can get it alot cheaper from Swanson's directly than buy through Amazon.  They typically 35-40% off a lot of the time on swansons website, even better discounts if you sign up for their emails.

Thanks

What dosage would you recommend to start at in regards to tablets per day.

Most people start low and slowly add over the course of weeks/months.

For example you could start at 250-500mg a day do that for a week to two weeks (even longer if you want). Then when you feel you know how your body reacts and tolerates b.o you can add another tablet so 750mg per day and do that for a few weeks. And so on until you get to 1000-1500 a day. Again this will all be depending on you and how your.body reacts to b.o. and the other supporting supplements. Go slow and watch how you react.

Some people see the affects at 500 a day and don't need or want to go higher, some have to be at the higher doses of 1000-1500 a day. Just depends on you. And more is not better. Too much too fast is not better.

Some people say they've seen the affects start to happen as early as a few days or weeks ( not breast growth, talking more about function downstairs) other say it took 3-6 months for them to start to see noticeable affects.

Starting to high and or moving to fast with increasing doses DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL WORK FASTER.  Let me repeat that. Taking too much starting off and or increasing the dose too fast dose not mean it will work faster. You will only.find yourself having side effects that will force you to stop your nbe routine, maybe even cause health risks that you will need medical attention for.

Start slow, access and re evaluate and move forward with staying at the same dose for another week, or adding one tablet or removing something.

Always... ALWAYS... with any NBE product, start with only one tablet/capsule per day for at least a week to see how it affects you.
Any stomach issues, rashes, headaches, loss of erections?

Swanson's is the gold standard for BO.

Have you fully investigated BO and it's ramifications?
Do you understand that you could be setting some wheels in motion that cannot be stopped?
That is, your breasts could start growing and continue growing after BO is stopped.
Same with fat distribution. The only thing that may stop this process is by reaching your full genetic potential.
That is why I tell people that if you are not able to accept this possibility, then do not use BO, at all.
This happened to me with only three doses in three days! Not what I wanted...

Thanks Karen,
I've recently had my prostate removed due to other medical issues so downstairs is out of action for a while anyway. I also understand that once on the BO journey that certain things may continue to happen but I feel this is the route I want to take.  Hug

Thanks CM213,
I think I'll go with 1 a day for a week and increase from there, I also plan to use this along with a progesterone cream to see how it goes.

With progesterone it has been advised by senior members to not use it from the very start.

Only start using it (at the recommended dose) once you've start to see growth. As in budding which is the start of breast growth, little lumps or nodules behind your nipples. If you're not sure you could even wait longer till your in tanner 2 stage of breast development. If you're unfamiliar with the tanner stages I would say to Google them. Short version is there are 5 stages of breast growth (tanner 1-5). Tanner 1 (or stage 1) is considered initial growth as in budding. Tanner 5 is the highest and final stage of breast growth that a fully grown genetic woman would reach.

Statistically most MTF trans women don't get much passed tanner stages 3 of breast development even after years of being on HRT. Unfortunately genetics has a big role to play. And unfortunately statistically those who do transition later in life tend to have less growth potential than people who have transitioned earlier in life. The longer testosterone has had time to effect your body there is less potential for feminizing effects of hrt.

Most of what I'm quoting is from this website. It could be a bit dated, and something's are old, but it is still very informative.

https://secondtypewoman.info/index.htm

This web site has a ton of information, not just about trans individuals but also about what our bodies do and the biology behind it.

These are  good articles about progesterone:

There's two reasons for those statistics. First is lacking studies, the studies done are never long enough to determine long term results. Like two or three years are not enough at all. Secondly, biggest reason for lackluster breast development is ineffective or downright dysfucntional HRT.

Typical breast development timeline takes five to ten years. Not two or three like many sources and studies claim. So take online information on this with a grain of salt.
