Time to change program

#1

Hello,

My name is Melissa and I'm 60 years old. I started on my journey in January of 2021. PM and SP got me to bud in about 3 months, after about a year things slowed way down and I tried different combinations RR, WP, BO, Bi-Est 2.5 and 5.0 , SM progesterone. These were name brands Ainterol, Swansons, Barlows, BioLabs all the things I've read on here over the years. I've seen no gain in fact maybe went backwards a little since 2022. I'm thinking of going on HRT as so many of you have done with varying results. I would like a size b or small c breasts nothing too large, with nice nipples.

So my question is do any of you think HRT will work now that I'm this far with NBE? I guess it's a crap shoot and I'll have to try it to find out. I live on the west coast in the USA and was hoping to find a place that could help me without a lot of questions or I might chicken out. Not sure how to do that exactly, I was hoping NBE would work without having to go to HRT. Anyway not sure where to go but feel I'm at a cross roads.

I'm posting some photos with dates so you can see where I started and where I'm at now. I've had Laser hair removal and IPL treatment along with some moles removed to clear up my chest.

Thanks, Melissa

I'm 62 and I've been on HRT for 4.3 years.
I was on NBE for 4.5 years prior to that.
I still look and pass as male, but I obviously have to wear baggy plaid shirts when I go to the local biker bar. HRT is vastly more better than just using herbs alone.

One thing to remember is that as we age, our growth hormone plummets the older we get. This has a huge effect on our eventual results. Factors influencing growth hormone are limited, but one of the best ways to increase it is through high intensity interval training exercise and intermittent fasting.

DIY HRT is definitely an option. Just be sure to get regular blood tests.

Best of Luck to You.

Hi Melissa,
I just started HRT after 2 years of NBE, I found an online tele doc that works with genetic males wanting to start HRT, there are quite a few to choose from, some take insurance. However if you are in California, Oregon or Washington there should be plenty of clinics that will be able to oversee your hrt program and schedule blood tests etc.

I have blood work scheduled for my 3 month mark, and prescription good for 6 months of refills, which are covered under my insurance, unfortunately my doctor visit is out of pocket but it's still affordable, the visit isn't covered in my state. Best of luck.

Everyone has to do what they feel is best for them.  Yes natural herbs will grow breast.  I switched to HRT by DR. after 6 months on herbs and I never looked back. For me it’s the best thing I ever did.  Remember you can’t pick and chose your results.

Planned Parenthood is another place to look.

Have a long think session with yourself, is HRT the best thing for me.  HRT is not a game it can change your whole body, mentally and physically. You have to decide.

Hello,

Thanks to everyone for their input on HRT. I'll have to do some research to see where I would go. I didn't know you could do tele doc thought you would have to go in person which I might do anyway. I've read on here that your nipples get real sensitive while on HRT which would be nice since mine are not.

While it's true that I just want breasts, it would be nice to hear form others how it changed them in other ways physically and mentally from how they used to be. NBE doesn't seem to change anything for me mentally or physically other then some small breast growth.

Thanks,
Melissa

PS. Here is a recent photo of me looking up as you can see they are small and they haven't changed in 2.5 years

HRT changes.

Let’s start with what the wife sees.
I’m not a jerk to live with, before she was afraid to say anything as she didn’t know if it would make me mad.
She says now I’m a joy to live with.
Body odor is gone.
Weight is still coming off.
Skin is much softer.
Body hair is less, still full body wax.
Beard is a lot thinner.
Face is becoming less masculine.
Closer and more in love than ever.
Breast growth

So when you ask my wife everything is a positive.

As far as me, lost interest in golf, tv shows have changed, don’t like to get dirty, diet matches with wife’s, much more calm, love to cook. Most of all I’m happy and normal.

So no I won’t go back. That’s why I say you need to think it over.  I feel HRT is for the ones who need it for medical reasons, and the ones of us who are transitioning.  As far as just breast growth, I just don’t know.

Hi Caylee,

Thanks for the info! I like how you describe everything. Funny thing is I don't like golf only played twice with friends. I have always liked to cook just don't like the clean up part. Never really had much body odor and have been thin all my life. TV shows, as long as I still like hogan's hero's and Columbo I'm goodSmile

But seriously I see your point and I'm sure things would change. What do you think if I just grew the breasts a bit to where I want and then maintained them with PM or fenugreek etc. so not to be on HRT too long? I suppose it's a slippery slope. I think we all do have a feminine side, sometimes I look at girls clothes and wish I could wear those! All my life I kinda I wished I had breasts, it's been a fantasy for me and now that I'm older thinking maybe I should.

Anyway thanks for your input.

I don’t know anything about the effects of starting and stopping HRT for just breast growth.

I’m on HRT for the complete package and will be on hormones the rest of my life. My life change wasn’t a fantasy, it was definitely done to fix what went wrong at birth. So I don’t know anything about JUST growing breast.

There are people on here that are into pumping and growing breast only. Maybe you can reach out to them, as they might have the information you’re seeking. Good luck in your endeavors but always be safe.

Seconded what Caylee said. Firstly, HRT should not be toyed with, there's no way to choose which changes it does as it does everything. With PM etc., its usually not quite the same and they're absolutely ineffective by comparison already because without blocking, testosterone dominance will overwhelm the weak herbs easily.

Its all or nothing deal, I see way too many guys here dreaming about somehow being functional as a guy and getting feminine body proportions at the same time, I've said it many times that its just not how it works. Our bodies don't function like that. So stuff like herbal NBE, pumping, even plastic surgery is a thing for anyone who wants to pick and choose what to get. HRT gives it all, takes ages, lot of times the change can be disappointingly slow or just not good enough on its own. This is why I try to arrange plastic surgery to go the extra mile on top of what HRT does. And this is why I did noogling like crazy at one point because my dysphoria is so much centered around boobs and body proportions.

I think HRT is fantastic continuation for NBE, it seems like what ever was gained before is just giving a headstart and doesn't interfere with the development later on. Unless receptors have been absolutely fried to hell and back with truckloads of PM or other such newbie mistake of course.
