Just started

Hi all,

I've just started on BO and I'm a novice to this so I would be grateful for any advice to help improve things.

I am only 1 week in and my regime so far has been 
BO 1cap/250mg per day for 3 days followed by 2caps/500mg for 2days, increasing to 3 caps/750mg for following 2 days
Progesterone Cream 20mg per breast, butt and inner thigh area every 2nd day
2x100mg milk thistle per day
2 cups green tea daily.

So far I had noticed that I feel there is something going on with my breasts like building blocks underneath with a tighter feeling in them after taking the capsules. I also feel a tight circular area around my lower abdomen around my belly button area ( not sure if it's anything) that is new. I haven't noticed any other changes and I am also wondering if there is anyway of increasing the nipple sensitivity as mine seems to be almost non existent. 

I understand it's early days and everyone reacts differently but do you think increasing to 4caps/1000mg from week 2 would be advisable.

Welcome Peachy,
I can tell you a little about my program and what was recommended to me, I am not a physician just someone who spent 2 years on BO.

I started with 250 mg late afternoon and 250 before bed. = 500mg day

After a month I increased that by adding a 250 before bed for 500mg. = 750 day

After another month add 250 mg late afternoon beforebed stayed the same= 1000 mg day.

Month 3 I was tolerating it well so I added 1 late afternoon and one before bed. 250 each. = 1500 day

Month 4 I repeated the process.

From what I have read from others in the group 1600 mg a month has been considered optimal, I went a little higher than that for a year as my body tolerated it well and I am looking for a very feminine body.

I eventually leveled out to 1500 a day before switching to estradiol at the end of year 2. I have stopped BO fore the time being, in 3 months after I do my labs I will reevaluate adding BO.

It's been reported that progesterone cream on the breasts disrupts the development process so you may want to reevaluate where you apply that. I would apply it to my scrotum after about a year. I did use a BO based estrogen cream on my breasts and gonads, eventually on my face and under arms.

I also took iodine to boost metabolism for an increase in body temp, optimum is 98.6.

Other supplements: DHEA, D3 K2, selenium, 2 high protein shakes.

I didn't add any anti androgen to my program because Lotus reported that BO is also an anti androgen.

Remember it's a marathon not a sprint.

Thanks for your advice, I think I will use the cream on the areas I mentioned apart from my breasts. I think I will also up my dosage to 1000mg at your suggested times.
If I think it's too much I can always cut back.

I started with 500 mg a day for first month.

I didn't get up to 1000mg a day until month 3. I thought you were on month 1.

You should do what works for you though, my program was custom built for my goals.

It could be a case of trial and error to find out what's working the best and time and patience will be very important.

I've just started having pretty severe pains in my calf muscles, which I've read can be a side effect. Is this my body adjusting or should I stop?

All advice welcome please.

That's not good, you should stop and get checked out by a doctor for DVT. Generally that's a side effect of PM but but DVT is not something to mess around with.

Hi tomi,

I've already got checked out yesterday and all clear for clots. I believe they are more high risk with PM, that's why I had stopped taking it last year.
With the BO clots are not supposed to be as common, that's why I've reverted to it.

Hi Peachy,glad everything was OK. You're right about BO, risk of DVT is pretty much non existent, but with you adding other supplements and topicals you just never know.

When I was on BO, I used a topical BO cream at times and a topical progesterone at times, I never had any issues of medical concern.

Bovine ovary should be quite safe. I'm naturally prone to blood getting super thick very easily. BO has not been an issue at all, whereas PM gave me a DVT scare. Things that do elevate blood clotting factors are oral estrogens, afaik progesterone can have some effect but likely not much. PM is potentially very dangerous if overdone. I'm not sure about other NBE items. Shitty lifestyle is obviously the worst, booze and cigarettes literally kill... Some times genetics make this worse like in my case I need to be careful.

But bovine ovary should not be much of an issue. For example, I'm on 2300mg dose which the highest I've ever done and highest I'm willing to do, this could already be wasting quite a bit of it. Zero problems what so ever.
