OMG my bra shows

#1

I have noticed several posts where the OP is concerned that the bra strap shows or nipples show when out in public.

So if we wear bras and make efforts to grow some breasts etc,   why is it that some make efforts to hide these things.   I would think if such effort is taken to grow some nice breasts why hide them rather that be proud and show them off.

Great question.

Some people just don't care and sometimes it's situational is my guess.

If I am at home I really don't care,it's just me and my spouse. If I am going out in full female mode I don't care. These are things that people accept and it doesn't phase them.

Of course I have been out dressed male mode except underwear and bra, for the most part no one notices or cares, most people are more into what they are doing and can't see past themselves. Of course why I don't go out in a bra or try to hide it in public, my spouse is afraid I will be attacked, verbally and physically, so I am discreet when wearing a bra in public when we go out.

I really can't speak for anyone else, so I won't.

My guess would be, many of us feel 49% feminine and 51% masculine, or thereabouts, and don’t want to completely shatter the perceptions others have of us. Right or wrong, in many people’s eyes, if they find out a man has intentionally feminized himself, he is seen as 100% unmanly. Even if he is a badass dude as often as he’s a fabulous femme.

Telling people is a “no going back moment” and it’s a big step for most people. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it and publicly keep your “man card” though I hope society becomes more open to those of us in the middle.

And most men are absolute wimps and sissies who are scared of being called out for having a feminine side. There's nothing wrong with it and I say rock it, let the close minded fucks eat their bigotry. Guys can totally rock a whole lot of femininity without a problem, its not like its going to make them anything else than men. But I guess I'm biased with more open mind.

I say stop being scared of being stigmatised for breaking gender rules, those are a dumb old patriarchal concept anyway. Especially dumb is how so much is overly gendered like clothes and even colours. I guess its just confusing to so many people to see any type of androgyny especially in men. Tomboy women have been totally ok for ages, but somehow, people get scared of their wits if a man is wearing a bra or skirt or something. The thing with bra is even more silly if the man in question has decently sized boobs to carry, then there's a practical reason for wearing a bra and its cool, guys should be totally in for wearing a bra if they need it. Big Grin

Then again, hiding a bra and flying under the radar with boobs is super easy. Its much easier than people here often think, +90% of people will not see it, if they think they're looking at a man, they wont see it. None of it will reigster at all. The awkwardness of actually androgynous look starts much further. Boobs have to become very prominent for that, if that's all there is about it. Think of it as a gender trait checklist everyone has with little differences here and there.

I want to encourage guys to drop their insecurity and frailness of their masculinity, its totally cool to have obviously feminine traits and daring to show it too. It takes a strong man to look comfortably androgynous. Be that man.

Fartsalot,

Very interesting topic, a lot of people on BN are covering up such good work.

Lara Johanna,

What an eye opening statement.  After reading I handed the iPad to the wife and told her to read this.  After reading she said “DiDi is right again, as she is most of the time.”

We really enjoy reading your philosophy, it truly helps seeing an open minded woman’s opinion.

Always,

I agree be PROUD about your breast show them
if you watch tv you will see that 80% or more men now have some breast with all the stuff they are putting in are food to make the cows. eggs. bigger cows make more milk and so on you will see the size of both men and women breast will get bigger over the next 10 to 20 years. I myself love it when people look at my breast, I am not growing them to hide them, and I don't care if anyone see my bra or my breast I wear tank tops a lot that are low cut
and have a low cut under arms that lets people see my breast I have not had anyone give me a hard time or say anything bad to me about my breast I have had a few people ask if I have had a medical problem that made them grow and I told the NO I told them I was taking med to make them grow

I had bought compression tank tops to wear under my shirts when I felt my breasts became noticeable. I really noticed them with my lighter color and thinner material golf shirts. I wear polos every day to work but they are black so I think they are less noticeable. Never the less I started to wear a compression shirt daily under my polos and even t-shirts if I was going out in public. Well low and behold winter finally arrived here and I typically wear a long sleeve undershirt under my work polos. Well add the compression shirt and the undershirt and it was too much. I opted to dump the compression shirt. The feeling of them showing or being noticeable has diminished and now I am perfectly fine with them being noticeable and enjoying them having their freedom. There was always the thought in the back of my head that keeping them in a compression shirt all day 5 day a week could slow the growth, no idea but the thought was there. I think they only time I will find myself wearing a compression shirt now is with my lighter colored thinner material golf shirts on the golf course with my buddies or father in law. Beside everything else it feels so much better to reach up to cup and squeeze them when they aren't hidden under a compression shirt. I hope I'm not the only one that loclves to fondle and squeeze their breasts here lol.

I can still get away without a bra but if my current growth spell continues it won't be long before it becomes a real option or necessity. At that point I guess it's deciding on bra or sports bra. Wanting and enjoying the free feeling I have been enjoying currently leads me to a bra over a sports bra. Sooner or later I will experience the, "omg my bra straps are visible", problem. Im hoping my self confidence in my breasts improves and that I can proudly wear a bra and not worry about it. I have looked at bras with wider and flatter straps thinking that they are likely to be less noticeable. My thought there is that I will be wearing a bra and that in itself will be a confidence and comfort level booster.

Right now they are big enough to be noticed but small enough that they don't scream for attention or have to be contained and I'm loving that freedom. The bad, but good in my mind, part is that while I love the current size I still want them bigger.

We will see of I follow others that have said they want this size and then when they get there decide they still want to go bigger yet.

Now I feel like shopping for and buying a bra!

I thought that I would share my experience with wearing bras.  I've been wearing bras for several years now because my breasts have been hard to hide especially during the summer.  I was always able to wear loose clothes or jackets during the winter which helped greatly but when the weather became warmer I finally decided not to hide them.  It is all mental and how you look at yourself.  I became more open to wearing bras around family and friends to get their reaction.  Once I was comfortable and confident wearing them more in public became easier.  I'm sure I gotten stares and looks but I never let it be known that I knew I was being looked at.  I even had a coworker ask me if I was wearing and bra and told him that I was.  I believe that for the most part people are to busy or don't care.  Have confidence and depending on situation or environment is up to each person.  Once you are comfortable then the aspect of people saying anyway will be lessen.
