Try something new, or call it a day?

#1

Hello folks. It has been a while since I’ve posted, though I have regularly followed a lot of threads on BN, and continue to be inspired by the amazing achievements of many members.

I have been following my own PM-based regimen which I put together using the fantastic source of information and advice from Lotus and others, and for which I am profoundly grateful. I have made some modest gains and am currently wearing a 38B bra daily. Without the wisdom and experience of Lotus, Lara and many other senior members here I doubt I would have achieved much at all. Thank you all for sharing your experiences.

Over the past few months I seem to have stalled with my NBE programme, so have been having a think about where I should go next to try to regain some momentum. I confess that I did get rather disillusioned about my lack of gains in the past year, and together with some misgivings about PM side effects and thrombosis risks I had been considering giving up on NBE.

However, I have been reading a lot lately about the Topical Cream Protocol posted by Lotus and adopted by a number of BN members with what sounds to be solid and impressive results. This has given me renewed hope that I can suspend my PM use and switch to Lotus’s Topical Cream Protocol and maybe initiate some gains? Reading what Lara, Stevenator, Wee2er and others have achieved is fantastic inspiration for me not to give up just yet, so my thanks to all for the encouragement you all provide.

So, I’ve suspended my PM use and have introduced DHEA cream, Bi-Estro cream and white peony capsules as set out below. I would be very grateful if anyone can have a look at my regimen to date and the revised version and let me know their thoughts. Basically, do you think the change to a topical protocol is likely to work and get things growing again, or is it likely that I have reached my personal limit at this point?

Thanks for any advice or comments you may have. It will help me to decide whether to keep trying or to accept that it is time to give up my attempt!

The topical regimen is a game changer for sure. I was using a PG cream along with my BO regimen and had small pointed barely there A cups. I started using a topical program of micronized PG and micronized DHEA mixed in an MCT oil and DMSO. I went from those pointy A's to a full and round B in about 5 weeks....maybe even 4. I just added RC to the mix so we will see what that does. I can say without a doubt that the topical regimen works and is a game changer for me. Since I'm not the only one seeing results I would have to say that the chances of it working for others is probably pretty good. There is a lot to gain of it works for you and aside from a little time and money there's not much to lose by trying.

Hugs,

Thanks, Brianna. That’s very encouraging - I will definitely give it a try. As you say, it seems like it is working very well for a number of BN members. I’m quite excited to see if I see some gains!

I'd say go for it, the topical regime s good and like us all we've been tweaking it along the way, so would be brillint if we have another topical convert onboard to compare results and ideas with Smile

The topical protocol is absolutely a ground breaking discovery even at the most simple way it can be done and it can be improved upon. Nothing short of amazing. Cool

Wee2er and Lara - Thank you both so much for your helpful replies and for your encouragement. It really means a lot to me. After going through a lot of self-doubt and uncertainty in the past couple of months your positivity makes me feel so much better - I feel inspired.

Your belief in the topical cream protocol tells me that I need to stick with it, too. I understand that the TCP is something of a work in progress, which makes it all the more exciting to try. I hope that what I have settled on is an appropriate and effective regimen - I would welcome any comments or criticism from more experienced TCP users regarding dosages, timings or any anything I might be missing!

Lotus has really started something here, hasn’t she?

I will be posting in detail about my latest experiements and development in about two weeks or so as I'm hitting three and half years on HRT. Last six months have been amazing and I've figured out quite a bit about how to make the topical protocol work to the max. The basics of it are super simple, with DHEA I think its great idea to get the capsules and use the micronised powder instead of cream, its much cheaper and dosing is super easy. Of course if cost isn't a problem, the creams work just fine as there's less hassle to work with.

From what I've found, it seems to get really efficient when dosage exceeds 50mg. I've stayed on 75mg for a long time as it seems near perfect. With progesterone, creams work fine, but the changes seem to get way faster when there's much higher dosage used, the gel from Prog capsules. My usual dose is 200mg from capsule and 20mg from cream. For estradiol I have the 1mg gel pouches.

Anyway, I will be posting updated program, timeline photos and explain a whole lot about all this before Christmas. Cool
