"Gynecomastia causes massive dysphoria and mental health problems to guys who don't want it. '

I'm relatively new and haven't gotten the hang of this place yet, so I wasn't able to do that quote with attribution.  It was Heaven's Night.

I'm on this website in an attempt to make sense of the very real breasts that have been developing on my chest the last few years... through no effort on my part.  But I'm NOT one of those men who is freaked out about it... rather I'm quite thrilled... which in itself is problematic.  I've been spending time on a website with other men who are discussing "gynecomastia."   The men I'm hanging out with are finding acceptance for this reality.  Some of them developed breasts in adolescence... some in adulthood as the result of medications prescribed for various conditions.  We talk about breasts, about women's clothing often fitting our bodies better and sharing our latest and greatest brassiere purchases.  I'm wearing a brassiere as I write this and much mesmerized by the breasts filling the front of my tea shirt.  I've no intention to transition and although I've crossdressed at various times in my life, I've no interest is presenting as a woman... though if I were Christy would be the name I'd choose.

So I'm simply man with breasts... and a 42C brassiere is holding them.  I can 't keep my hands off them and love to see them in a mirror.  I encountered the word on a trans site that seemed correct.  Autogynephilia... perhaps folks here are familiar with the term.  Here is a brief definition.

Quote:Autogynephilia is a term that describes a condition where a person assigned male at birth experiences sexual arousal from the thought or image of themselves as a woman. It is often discussed in the context of gender identity and transsexualism.

As is discussed on some threads here, when estrogen has its way with our bodies it means testosterone is diminished... when also means the libido is diminished... consequently the arousal at the reality of having rather voluptuous breasts is not going to be played our genitally.  But the arousal is there nonetheless.

So how do I go about living my life?  I live alone and so wearing a brassiere to enhance the presentation of my breasts is simple... but what happens when I walk out the door.  For some time I've worn clothes to mask the appearance of my chest.  Typically I haven't worn a brassiere but of late I've felt the desire to do so.  There is that part of my mind that wants everyone to see my beautiful breasts.  I guess that is autogynephilia in action.  But even if I don't go there, my mind never loses track of the fact my breasts are present.  I may caress them as I drive  or run my fingers across them beneath my shirt as I walk down the aisle of a store.  You get the idea.

I understand there is no simple solution to my situation.  I have breasts.  I'm very fond of them.  I can play with them to my hearts content while at home... though without orgasmic moments.  It really doesn't matter how this has come into reality.  Much of my exploration over this subject has shown how silly it is to talk about gender the way we do.  We all reside in bodies with their own hormonal stew with minds that have been shaped by myriad circumstances.  We come out of all that being precisely the people we are.  Folks here are often trying to grow breasts, while men on gynecomastia sites are often getting support to cut them off.  Wow... this is a crazy world.  Here we are!

Christy, thanks for this post. I like the term "hormonal stew." I have had gynecomastia since adolescence and my breasts have grown considerably as I have aged. In the beginning i hated them. Now I love them. I have "orgasmic moments" with mine, and they are very special. Here's my story: https://www.breastnexum.com/showthread.php?tid=31109
